Guest guest
, what are the benefits of the magnesium for GB issues? I am also battling candida. I think that I remember reading that candida sufferers typically have a magnesium deficiency. I am very interested in your thoughts on this. Guest guest
Please tell me where I can get the AF Beta Food by Standard Process? I did look it up online and saw that I can order it but can I possibly find in a local heath food or herbal store? My abdomen got very uncomfortable today and my doctor advised to go to the ER to get an ultrasound but I am trying to see if it will calm down until I can get an appointment to have one done without going through the ER. The pressure has almost disappeared now but I haven't eaten anything all day. -------------- Original message -------------- From: " fjnie1234 " <Fred.Niehaus@...> , what are the benefits of the magnesium for GB issues? Guest guest
I am of the opinion that if your body can and will take care of its self if you keep it in tune. There is no direct link between magnesium and GB issues that I have come across - the reason I mention it is that it is very easy to be deficient in it ( RDA 420 mg/day for men and 320 for women) and it helps in so many different ways, participates in over 300 enzymatic reactions in the body, - among the worlds leading researchers is Dr Mildred Seeling- internal medicine - authored the " Magnesium Factor " with Dr noff. If you have kidney disease or heart issues you should only take magnesium with the supervision of a doctor I have a friend who is an alternative doctor who cured an older gentleman of painful kidney stones by prescribing- 3/4 gallon carrot juice, 4 oz of beet juice, 8oz of celery juice, 1 oz of parsley juice and 1 oz of spinach juice to be consumed over the course of a few hours. The juice alkalized his body and the pain went away and has yet to return. good luck F On May 21, 2008, at 10:16 AM, fjnie1234 wrote: > , what are the benefits of the magnesium for GB issues? Guest guest
There is a direct link between everything. Magnesium is relaxing to smooth muscle. so it relaxes both the gallbladder (has smooth muscle around it) and the bile ducts. Since it draws water to the bowel it is important in relieving constipation and clearing the stool. It is essential to nerve function and therefore nerve function of the gallbladder. Hope this helps,Dave gallstones@...: fbattaglia@...: Wed, 21 May 2008 23:54:14 -0700Subject: Re: Re: heathermkay Gallbladder? Guest guest
, Please go to www.gallbladderattack.com for healthy gall bladder foods as well as foods that work for the pain you are experiencing. Your symptoms are very similar to mine, so I will tell you what has helped. First, get to the point where you can eat without discomfort by following some of the advice at the site above. When you do start adding other foods back, do so slowly. Practice proper food combining: no meats with grains, fruit by itself, and veggies with grains or meats. If I am going to combine a meat and grain, I take some digestive enzymes first. Eat lots of apples, green beans, beets, cucumbers, green salads. One of my favorite foods right now is either a salad or cucumbers cut up with Bragg's sesame/ginger dressing. I searched far and wide for a good dressing with only olive oil (instead of canola) and it is the only on I've found(they have another flavor as well- they are both good). HTH! Guest guest
Evie & , After I was diagnosed with gallstones I had a salad thinking it would be lowfat and wouldn't hurt my gallbladder. It was awful! Was one of the worst attacks I had so right now I'm avoiding all salad greens. A. Guest guest
I think eating a large salad is what caused my problems a couple of days ago. --------- Re: heathermkay Gallbladder? , Please go to www.gallbladderatta ck.com for healthy gall bladder foods as well as foods that work for the pain you are experiencing.
