What other tests can be done to confirm it is my gall bladder or rule out other

things? I just want to know what it is and make sure it is just my gall

bladder. If it is, then I will just do the flushes, watch what I eat, use ACV,

etc. One bad habit I have is drinking a small cup of coffee in the morning.

Would this aggrivate the gall bladder?

Thanks for all the help!

ultrasound was clear of stones. The doctor doesn't think my problem

is related to the gall bladder but I'm still not convinced. He thinks

I have GERD or a hiatal hernal. Does either of these cause pressure

in the same general area as the gall bladder and pain under the right

shoulder blade. He wants to do a Upper GI with contrast and wants me

to try small means and cut out diary.

I have already started all these things! I teach arobics three times per week,

run, and eat mostly fruits and veggies. I occasionally splurge on a slice of

cheese or veggie pizza. I am very healthy. But...I would like to make sure

there is nothing more serious going on. I would hate to ignore something that

could be life threatening. My Dad passed away at 52 with lung cancer. If it

had been caught at an earlier stage, he would have probably survived. So, I

think it is better to get things checked out even if you do take the alternative

route!!!

That is SOUND logic - would advise you do your homework on selecting

the doctor and always get a second and or 3rd opinion

Yes, that's probably a good idea. I enjoy anything warm to drink in the

morning. I am going to try the Malic Acid.

,

I agree on the Malic Acid - I get Calcium malate and Magnesium malate - they are

both fantastic and I had no huge gall stones on my last liver flus - lots of

much smaller ones, but I believe the malate keeps them from forming

I just got off the phone with my doctor who had my results from a barium

swallow. The tests showed that I have gastritis. I have no idea what caused

this unless a bought with pneumonia back in April was the cause. I did take

antibiotics because I was very sick and deserate to get better. Could strong

antibiotics cause gastritis? The symptoms seem so much like mild gall baldder

symptoms but hopefully the doctor is right and this will heal.

The doctor said it is inflammation of the stomach.

Jay,

I am curious...why do you say that? I guess time will tell. The doctor started

me on something to help the stomach heal and said that I should feel a

difference within the next few weeks. I started taking it this morning and for

the first time, I didn't feel pressure under my ribs when I ate lunch. He is

acutually a D.O. (osteopathic physician) who is known to try to treat without

over medicating. He specializes in digestive disorders.

Thak you Jay. Any " itis " is defined as inflammation. Gastritis is therefore

" inflammation of the gastric tissues " . This is not a diagnosis, it is a

restatement of symptoms. This is another example of diagnosis by the process of

elimination. Since you drank the barium (radioactive) shake and nothing showed

up on the subsequent imaging you automatically get a " diagnosis " of gastritis.

They don't have a clue as to what is going on, just what they observe which may

be inflammation of these specific tissues or an assumption base on lack of

observing other issues. Ask your doctor " Why are my gastric tissues inflamed? " .

The answer to this question may lead to the solution (if they actually are).

Don't be suprised if the answer is " We are not sure. " though. But you will

probably get a prescription for a PPI or antacid to not irritate the

inflammation. You will still have the problem plus now the problems created by

their " treatment " . Dave

They think it could have been caused by antibiotics that I had to take when I

has a severe case of pneumonia. All the symptoms started within three weeks of

finishing the antibiotics.

Is everyone on this list against doctors and medicine? I know they are not

miracle workers and I don't put all my faith in them but they can help in

certain situations. I very rarely go to a doctor but I am glad they are there

when I need them.

Absolutely. I've learned SO much from Doug Kaufmann on the TV show Know the

Cause! and his website www.knowthecause.com. It's changed the way I think

about a lot of things. He reports that a lot of people's health issues

relate to fungus in the body. I had a pesticide poisoning and lost half my

lung function. I've been taking natural antifungals and am doing a lot

better now.

If the bone is sticking out of my arm, you bet I'll go to a doctor. If I

have any other type of problem, I always start with a chiropractor, because

they can solve so many problems. And if they can't solve a particular

problem, they will tell you to go to an M.D.

DO's are generally cool...you did not mention that previously.

A few very smart doctors told me that the problem with MD's (doctors) is that

they all read the same books. Therefore there are issues about thinking outside

of the box. Generally if you tell a doctor you are going to do a liver / GB

cleanse he / she would think you are crazy.
