My Gallstone story

Well, I joined the group in June after having an attack and hearing

the news that I had two gall stones. I have read and correspondended

with several people about the sucess or luck with getting rid of

them. I continued to get sicker even after trying some flushes,

chaning my diet. etc. My pain was not a hurting, stabbing pain like

the attacks, but throbing.. I stomach grew in size. I sought the

opinion of three doctors and all recommended that I have it removed.

So, after feeling sick all summer and feeling there was no

alternative, I had it removed Tuesday... And, I know alot of readers

will be disappointed in that, but I am glad I did. My gall bladder

was enlarged and was infected, which could have burst and caused

septic shock in my body. And the stones were a little bit larger

than marbles.

I beleive in keeping organs that you come into the world with also,

but now I beleive that I made the right decision for me. I was sick

and not getting any better.

I just want to send good wishes and luck to everyone in this group.

I have learned alot from everyone, but sometimes youjust need to

listen to what your body is trying to tell you.

Well

Not to fret my father had his gallbladder removed in 1970- he is now

87 years old and has not missed it one bit- of course he has always

maintained a great diet - lots of greens and fruit and fish and as he

got older he completely eliminated the little meat he did consume

By the way did u know about the AF Beta food before your surgery ?

good luck

99% of all doctors recommend removal. Just because everyone eats at the Olive

Garden does not make the food good.

Personally I would have checked out natural doctors or MD's with natural

experience. Also, usually the doctors who recommend you to go get your GB

ripped out get a piece of the action from the surgeon.

So viola, they have a piece of the action and the doctors think they know

something.
