What is so wrong with cottage cheese? Actually has a pretty good amino acid

profile. Part of Johanna Budwig's cancer protocol. maybey you are deficient in

one of the amino acids and your body is talking to you. Low fat by the way.Dave

Well they do say that you only crave the foods your body needs.so maybe

you are short of calcium Oh and also I read that cottage cheese is good

to eat if you have any gallstones problems I have taken up eating it

since my diagnosis.

Can excessive cheese consumption contribute to the formation of gallstones?

Absolutely. Does it cause them? Extremely rarely. Diet and lifestyle over a

long period of time is probably the main culprit. Constitution can be a major

player when coupled with the above. Endocrine dysfunction a big one but usually

brought on by the diet and lifestyle stuff. Emotions and the emotional

enviroment definitely a player as I have alluded to previously. The vast

majority of us will have done it ourselves. We are all responcible for it and

solving the issues. Avoiding cheese may be helpfull for some, of no concern for

others, but will never be all of the answer.Dave

Does eating too much cheese contribute to gallstone formation? Because ofthe fat

and calcium in it?

Alkalizing one's system can go a long ways in helping your body

control / run optimally - - I know of a practitioner who has cleared

kidney stones with this recipe - not sure what it does for GB stones

3/4 Gallon Carrot Juice

4 ounces of Beet juice

8 ounces Celery juice

1 ounce Parsley juice

1 ounce spinach juice

best if juice is not pasteurized - there are many health food stores /

markets that will juice for u

good luck

PS

Want to acknowledge add to a comment made the other day by Dave about

liver and GB being effected by stress-

If you are under a lot of stress and having pain - try breathing

exercises - very simple exercises- inhale slowly - hold breath for a

few seconds - exhale slowly and hold breath for a few seconds before

slowly inhaling again- then start over - start with doing this a few

minutes and try to work up to 5 or 10 or more minutes a day a couple

of time a day - even in bed - an exercise as simple as this will help

in many ways - check it out

Right on ! On several accounts. First the juice recipe. Alkalinating

juices are fantastic especially for us on the SAD diet. The below proportions

are great. Would definitely recommend juicing fresh and not in the quantity

unless you plan on consuming it all in a short period of time. Believe it or

not the free ions in the juice start to react and oxidize quite quickly. The

rule at the Hospital Meridien in Mexico (Gerson) is 13 fresh juices per day no

farther from the juicer than 7 minutes if I remember correctly. Second on

breathing. The Chinese rule is, " All chi comes from the air you breathe, and

the food you eat. " While there is exceptions to all rules, take this one to

heart... literally. What does it cost to breathe? All the Eastern forms of

health maintainance have this as a major component of their foundation; Yoga,

chi gong, tai chi, etc. And for good reason. Amazing things can happen through

breath work alone. You can potentially open up your gallbladder meridian by

breathwork alone. This is a good thing.

Ok, try this. Lay on your back. You will need someone else to help you.

Have them at your feet. Lying on your back, take a deep breathe and let it out.

You do not need to hold it, but be conscious of how much air you take in. Now

have your assistant push up (towards your head) the metatarsal arch ( that area

at the front of your foot that if you look at it seems the lowest, behind your

toes but in front of your " arch " . the area that when you walk is the main area

that gets the pressure as you come off of your foot. Hope I have described this

properly). The toes can be bent down by your assistant. The idea is to push

the metatarsal arch towards the head. Again, I hope I have communicated this

properly. Now take another deep breathe. Be concious of how much air you take

in. Can't tell a difference. Have your assistant let go of your feet, and

start again. Cool huh? If you felt a signifigant difference, you would benefit

from adding a metatarsal arch support to your shoes. This is different than a

pair of orthotics. They cost about 15 bucks at any drugstore that carries Dr.

Scholl's. They look like green eggs minus the ham. They go under that area

that you strike on as you leave your foot. Again, hope the picture is correct.

Good luck. Dave
