'Legislating an Epidemic': A new book from Lawyers Collective

Dear friends,

As you know the Lawyers Collective HIV/AIDS Unit has undertaken the task of

drafting a law on HIV/AIDS. A part of this drafting process was preparing

background papers on certain core issues after comprehensive research on

approaches in India and internationally. The abstracts of these papers are

available online on our website www.lawyerscollective.org

The background papers on the Draft Legislation on HIV/AIDS are now ready and

have been published in a form of a book titled Legislating an Epidemic which

contains nineteen chapters on the core issues related to HIV/AIDS.

The first edition of the book is available by order. You can place an order with

us by EMAIL at aidslaw@... or aidslaw1@... or by POST in

Mumbai at Lawyers Collective HIV/AIDS Unit, 7/10, Botawala Building, 2nd floor,

Mumbai 400 023, India and in Delhi at First Floor, 63/2 Masjid Road, Jangpura,

New Delhi 110 014, India. The cover price of the book is Rs. 300/-per book. The

discounted price is Rs. 200/- per book. Please add the amount for postage and if

you are sending a cheque from places outside Mumbai and Delhi for cheque

collection charges as indicated in the table below.

You may book your orders by sending a Demand Draft, Pay Order or cheque payable

in Mumbai or Delhi in favour of Lawyers Collective. Books can also be ordered in

India by VPP.
