Guest guest
If your gallbladder is not functioning properly then the milk fats will not be digested or assimilated properly along with potentially stressing the gallbladder. At the same time they will stimulate the production and flow of bile which is essential to getting a low functioning gallbladder functioning properly. the standard medical viewpoint is that because the fats may stimulate gallbladder contraction that a no fat diet will prevent a gallbladder attack. It might but will also prevent the " healing " process. Since they also view the gallbladder as an expendable organ they figure " who cares? " lets just remove and throw away the pesky little thing. If you intend on keeping the gallbladder then an entirely different approach to diet and lifestyle must be entertained. Butter fats, especially ghee are not evil. Margarine and other hydrogenated or high heated oils are but these are the gooofballs that have been telling us the oposite for the past 60 years until finally admitting it a bit recently (and under duress I might add). So especially in light of the fact that most cottage chesse is made from low fat milk products it is probably not only fairly safe in terms of not stimulating an attack but as I said has a pretty decent amino acid profile. It is imperative that other things are done both dietarily and supplementally to purue the proper functoning of the gallbladder. When achieved, no attacks can ocurr. Otherwise we should just have the pesky little thing removed and dumped.Dave gallstones@...: admilby@...: Sat, 12 Jul 2008 09:08:21 -0700Subject: RE:Dave what does it mean to crave cottage cheese?
