Guest guest
My ultrasound showed no stones as well, but supposedly only the large calcified stones show on an ultrasound. I didn't have any sever pain either except in the shoulder one night. The conventionaly advice is to: 1) change your diet 2) add some supplements to your diet 3) do multiple flushes This is something that will take weeks if not months to turn around. In my situation, I looked at it as a wake up call. The GB problems were a sign that I needed to change my lifestyle. If someone offered me a choice of taking a little pill to get rid of my GB problems or to do the above mentioned things, I would do the above instead. I hope you get the point. Guest guest
Thanks! I don't plan on jumping into surgery right away and possibly never if I can get control of this. I just want to make sure that I am dealing with gall bladder since I don't have any visible stones and no severe pain. I am 34 and have had two children so it is most likely gall bladder related. It seems to be related to what I eat most of the time but other times it isn't. If I splurge on a slice of pizza, I feel it the next day. I didn't eat anything yesterday that should have bothered me but I am very uncomfortable this morning. Guest guest
You can find lists of the foods that are the biggest offenders on the web. I don't have such a list handy. I know that eggs are at the top of the list. You may just want to experiment with different foods that are on the list keeping a journal if necessary in order to determine which foods cause you symptoms. In addition to avoiding foods that cause your symptoms, it is wise to avoid foods that are unhealthy for the liver and GB. There are really two different objectives as I see it. One is short-term which is to alleviate symptoms. The other is long-term which is to build a healthier liver and GB. Good luck! > > > > I have been battling something for a while. Guest guest
it is possible that you removed some stones, but others have moved forward into the place of those, so do what you did before, and see if it alleviates symptoms...and repeat. Guest guest
How often does the flush need to be repeated? Re: Frustrated! - Please Help > > I have been battling something for a while. Guest guest
Try alkalizing your system - it would mean a day of juicing - it may help Here is a recent post Alkalizing one's system can go a long ways in helping your body control / run optimally - - I know of a practitioner who has cleared kidney stones with this recipe - not sure what it does for GB stones/ issues; 3/4 Gallon Carrot Juice 4 ounces of Beet juice 8 ounces Celery juice 1 ounce Parsley juice 1 ounce spinach juice best if juice is not pasteurized - there are many health food stores / markets that will juice for u Consume it in one day - good luck On Jul 16, 2008, at 7:10 AM, Kay wrote: > Thanks! Guest guest
~I like Hulda 's cleanse, and she recommends that you do the cleanse 2 weeks apart until you get about 2,000 stones out, or until you don't see anymore. Then go on maintenance and do them once or twice a year because we are always building them. It took awhile to build up your stones so it may take some time to get rid of all of them. Just like cancer supposedly can't grow in an alkaline system, we should do everything we can to alkalinize our bodies. S.A.D. (standard american diet) is very acidic and I feel our diets are way to acidic these days. I like 's idea of juicing for at least a day. The body always loves a rest from digesting. I eat fruit or juice only until noon or so, do my flax oil and cottage cheese two or three days a week, and then eat normally for the rest of the day. I find that everything tastes better and you have a real appetite again. Took awhile to get used to it, but now I can't imagine eating any other way. Lost 20 pounds in a few months and have kept it off for 3 years......wasn't my goal to lose weight but was thrilled about it! The Fit for Life program is pretty healthy, and I don't do it all the time because of the food combining and all, but it makes sense. Amazon has the book for a penny sometimes. Make sure you're getting enuf water in-between meals to keep your system cleaned out. When I don't get enuf water I feel toxic. Good luck! herbladie > > I do it every two weeks until little comes out > > > How often does the flush need to be repeated? > >
