Guest guest
>>>>Andy's book says not to use : " dandelion/Beet green/Lemon / juice/ Olive oil liver flushes " Does that mean we should not use Dandelion root at all, or just not in an attempt to " flush " the liver by using dandelion root? Is the same also true for lemon juice? Are we to not use lemon juice at all? Or just in terms of a flush? I have been reading about a fast where you use maple syrup and lemon juice. Would this be contraindicated? I am wanting to do something that helps to clear my liver. I feel like doing a lot of DMSA has been hard on it.....(????) Both lemon juice and dandelion root have been recently recommended to me again. I had the juice of a whole lemon juice yesterday and also today. (Just love lemon too!) Could that be why Iam feeling crappy and almost feverish today? ~inga > > > > > ======================================================= >
Guest guest
I never understood taking dandelion root to mess you up. With me it seems to work. But my body can't process lemon. I am guessing because my liver isn't working up to par. I do know that lemons are used to kill of bacteria and some other living junk in the body. Did you read anything on that? It might be what is causing you to feel that way. I just say this because I took many supplements and some foods like garlic that killed off yeast in my body. The flu like feeling is from the critters dying off in your body. It is called Die-Off. You might have more bugs to kill. But take it slow. If you are not sure if this is killed bugs. Take a laxative to see if you suddenly feel so much better after a full dump in the toilet. Dead bugs make you feel sick all over until you get them out of your body. It is a toxic response. Guest guest
---Beck: The post sounds promising and interesting all at the same time but what if you live somewhere where dandelions don't grow? Any suggestions then? I'm located in sunny and very hot Arizona. Guest guest
In my opinion for your smoothie, none. I would like you to enjoy your smoothie and take the dandelion another way, then you can chase it with some smoothie. I'd like to add it to my morning smoothie instead of making a tea. Does anyone know how many tsp's are appropriate ? _________________________________________________________________ The i’m Talkathon starts 6/24/08. Guest guest
Ok, point taken! BUt I have loose dandelion root so if one recomends to take 1000mg for example, I don't know how much that is. Is there a recommended daily amount in mg's ? __________________________________________________________________ Looking for the perfect gift?
