Guest guest
OK, I don't have a lot of time. I am scheduled for gallbladder surgery tomorrow morning! I have back pain but no other symptoms. The surgeon saw the gallstones and said that my pain is not in a typical place for gallstones, but since I have them I should still have my gallbladder out. She actually said " I can't guarantee that this surgery will help your back pain! " . I'd like to keep my gallbladder, but am afraid that flushing might just make it worse by moving gallstones around and plugging the ports. Have any of you on this board had symptoms go away after a flush? Have any of you had to have surgery because a stone blocked a port? Has anyone heard about the new procedure at Mayo Clinic where they are disolving the gallstones? Thanks for your help. If I had more time I'm sure I could have searched through this board. It kind of amazes me how people take surgery so lightly and seem to think that all those people with complications after gall bladder surgery are 'rare'.
