Guest guest
Hey there Fred, Since the polyp is abnormal cell growth if it gets " too big " it could not only block off the bile duct but the contractions of the gallbladder would potentially produce the same symptoms as if it were a gallstone. There is probably plenty of time to attempt reduction through natural means. Anything anti neoplastic may be helpfull. The things that I mentioned would be the first things I would consider though there are gobs of things that might also be helpfull but would need to be determined on an individual basis. You would probably have difficulty finding a surgeon who would agree to just removing the polyp and saving the gallbladder. It is so simple to just remove the organ and their atitude is usually " you don't need it anyway " that most would be reluctant to part from the standard. They would probably inform you of the very real chance of the polyp growing back. Remember that it is a abnormal cell growth and if there are any cells left and that growth proces is not detriggered, there is a possibility of regrowth. To tell the truth, if I were not able to arrest or reverse the cell growth process I would probably consider organ removal. But there are a lot of other things to try first. Reduction of polyps whether in your gallbladder, intestines, sinuses, etc. or even on your skin is a very real possibility. And by approaching it from an arresting or reversing angle the underlying problem is addressed and subsequent problems seemingly unrelated may be diverted. When you say surgery, I am assuming that you mean gallbladder removal rather than polyp removal? Also, do you know for sure that people have had success in reducing the polyp size by using the herbs and enzymes mentioned below? Are there any other treatments? If the polyp gets too big, why would the GB have to be removed? What kinds of problems would it cause? Thanks.>> > Doragio,> > Polyps can completely recede. This is a bit different from gallbladder flushing though the flushes will only help and are probably recommended. The polyp is abnormal cell growth though benign. Therefore, you cannot flush it out, but the body can either apoptose and reabsorb or detrigger the cell proliferation process. This takes time. Even if she decides to try some other thing first it is probably imperative to follow up with the doctors in order to track it's growth or recension. If it gets to big this can become a big problem and gallbladder surgery would be a blessing at that point. But she probably has some time to try other things. Here are some possible things to try: Internally, Poke root (be very carefull. Start low dosages and work up slowly. It can produce nausea. Powerfull and wonderfull herb), guggul gum, turmeric, proteolytic enzymes (in between meals), lot's of liver/gallbladder therapy. Applied topically, poke root oil, castor oil, and if you are into breaking the law, while I would never recommend it, DMSO (Illegal, but one has to wonder why?). This is just past the threshold of the recommendation for gallbladder surgery according to the doctors. However, having read some of the people who have done this, we want to avoid this procedure by all means. So my question is, what can we do currently to help the situation of a gallbladder polyp? Is it the same procedure as flushing with the stones or totally something else?Thank you for any and all assistance, comments.Best wishes, > > > > > > > __________________________________________________________> Search that pays you back!
