Guest guest
The majority of patients with primary sclerosing cholangitis are asymptomatic at the time of diagnosis, although some may have advanced disease. The disease should be considered in patients with inflammatory bowel disease who have otherwise unexplained abnormal liver biochemical tests, particularly an elevation in serum alkaline phosphatase. A review of clinical manifestation, diagnosis and differential diagnosis has been discussed on: http://surgerysearch.blogspot.com/ Dr. Jitendra Agrawal, Kanpur, India.
