Guest guest
Hey there, Thats a hard one to answer and it depends on how you would respond a more cost effective flush. Which may or may not get out much mucoid plaque and just get out more stool. Here try this first and let me know how it goes. Psyillium Husks 2 tbsp mix with 2tbsp of Bentonite or French Green Clay. But add in 1tbsp of apple pectin fibre. These 3 things work synergistically to brush the colon walls and get out all sorts of stuff. Mix all this in a tall glass of water or even better prune juice. Stir it up and let it sit for about half a minute or so. Slug it back. It's not the most pleasant tasting stuff but I long ago sacrificed taste for health so for me its a non issue lol. Also drink plenty of water before and after this drink. Drink it 2x a day away from meals. Do 5 days on and take weekends off so as to try to avoid developing a sensitivity to the ingredients. You can also try the Salt Water Flush. Use only natural salts like Celtic Salts or Himilayin (sp?) salts. With the salt water flush the ratio is vital of salt to water. You want to be specific with measuring both the water and the natural salt. Supposedly when you get the ratio right the natural salt and water match the specific gravity of the blood and your body does not absorb it. Instead you will be going to the bathroom getting out all sorts of stuff over the next few hours. Drink this first thing in the morning ALWAYS on an empty stomach. Do this every morning for 2 weeks they say. Maintenance can be 1 week out of every month. If you dont get the strong urge to go to the bathroom within 1 hour of drinking the natural salt and water then cut the recipe in half for both the salt and water and drink that additional amount. It can get pretty damn salty so I split the dose into 2 and only add the salt when I was ready to drink it. Just google " salt water flush " I've been in despiration mode for so many years with chronic Lyme disease and heavy metal toxicity that I've tried many things. ALL of my gastro intestinal (GI) parastalsis stopped working after developing a condition called " Bells Palsy of The Gut " http://www.lymenet.de/literatur/vtsherr_gut.htm A neurological condition in which the peripheral nervous system becomes damaged from Lyme neurotoxins and the message from your brain to your gut gets lost or altered. So essentially you eat something and your brain doesn't get the nerve transmission that there is food down there and that it should initiate the digestive process. Hence paralysis or partial paralysis of gastro intestinal organs. A person can experience a range of symptoms but specifically concerning motility it can manifest as either constipation or diarrhea or both depending on how the GI nerves are damaged. And considering the brain controls almost all bodily processes this is a big problem for a lot of people. With Lyme disease there can also be brain damage since the Lyme organism can penetrate the blood brain barrier within 72 hours of exposure. Damage to brain tissues could mean that the areas of the brain which regulate digestion can no longer do so properly. Many tell tale signs which I was experiencing is " Sub-clinical Cerebral Edema " (a very common Lyme disease manifestation) basically swelling of the brain which causes chronic fatigue and headaches/migraines. But since its sub-clinical many if not all testing to ascertain brain swelling will come back negative. But I can tell you it definitely felt like my brain was going to push through my skull... But as I mentioned before infection can play a role in many GI symptoms. You dont have to be infected with Lyme disease to have tissue and nerve damage caused by infection. There are many " unfriendly " infections out there. Some of them are opportunistic and others can wear down the body's defenses over time allowing those opportunistic infections to exert their nasty influence on the body while the diminished host resistence is mediated by 1 or more of those nasty stealth super bugs (Lyme being one of them). So if you have persisting GI symptoms please look into this. Eventually numbness, hardness/tightness and lazy tissue will be the end result of Bells Palsy of the Gut. Not a fun thing to experience...it's just quiet, no grumbling no movement. Of course the stomach can become paralyzed as well which means that food will pass undigested into the small intestine. So chyme is not being produced in the stomach and digestion of fats and proteins is not happening because the HCL in the stomach has not had time to break these things down. (since the message between the brain and GI is not working properly HCL is usually not secreted in sufficient amounts anyways, there can also be direct damage to the HCL secreting cells of the stomach) I don't see why Bells Palsy of The Gut cant adversely affect other organs too. The gallbladder for example may not contract as strongly as it should to expel all these stones that we are manually removing. Of course all this is biological terrain so whats causing the immune weakeness in the first place. Thats the golden question of course there are many factors which negatively impact on our immune system. I wont get into that now though. Just theorizing here....but i'll stop my babbling because thats another problem that us Lymies have is verbal or in this case typing diahrrhea. ) Brad > > > > > > Most likely yeast or fungus (most likely).
