It's funny that someone mentioned itching because I wanted to come to this

group with a question. My daughter is 5.5 and I've pretty much figured out

that she does not tolerate (at LEAST) red coloring and probably other

additives. I try to feed her well, but when she comes home from her dad's,

she more often than not has a headache or doesn't feel well, because he

won't listen to me. He gives her purple Gatorade, not to mention colored

candy, etc. Last week she started itching when she gets hot, but only her

back itches. If she is in the sun, or if she gets warm, her back itches. And

it's in a suddenly itchy, can't stand it kind of way, it doesn't come on

gradually. When she gets in AC, it goes away. I've thought it might be the

allergy, but not sure. What else could it be? (I've also suspected a gluten

or wheat allergy as well.) With the itching, there is no rash, no bumps,

just itchy.

Have a blessed day!

I'd like to know what this is, too. Last summer (first time ever), if I got

too hot, my upper back felt like tiny electrical shocks going off on it.

Same thing is happening this year. There is an itching feeling along with

it.
