Guest guest
From what I understand, the vast majority of people have H. Pylori present, but smokers, drinkers, heavy aspirin/NSAID's, users, etc are the ones that develop ulcers. Since I have no personal experience in treating them, I'll just say that any natural form of simple antibiotics & bismuth (peptobismal - sp) is the guaranteed " standard treatment " with licorice being a good healer. Steve -------------------------------------------------------------- Anyone know of effective treatment for H-pylori? I understand it causes ulcers, but also upsets the whole digestive system. Thanks. Leo
Guest guest
I would use the de-glyzerrizinated form of licorice to avoide increased in BP. Enzymatic Therapy has one. It's called DGL for Deglyz.... Licorice. CB Re: H-pylori > >From what I understand, the vast majority of people have H. Guest guest
Hi Leo, I had h-pyloi after (botched )numerous surgeries (10) that caused rapid weight loss and gain that gave me my gallbladder problems. You must have prescription only antibiotics to knock it out fast.(two to three weeks).Do not wait for coffee grounds to start. that means bleeding. My stomach cramped terriably.once I started the antibiotics I immediatly felt better.Good luck. Guest guest
Dear , I had h-pylori this winter. The dr wasn't expecting it so I ended up with a bleeding ulcer. The meds work wonders! After months of complaining and having the major runs, they finally found out part of the problem. I'll bet the meds help you quickly! They are strong, but effective. Guest guest
Dear , I had that last winter. It took for ever for the GI to check for it because my orignial check was negative. But I kept complaining, could hardly eat (of course I didn't lose any weight) and finally he did another endoscopy since they kept finding blood in my stool. He was very surprised! But even though the meds are strong- I started feeling much better quickly. It was great after months of problems to have it be something easy enough to deal with. Hope you feel much better soon and the meds don't play too much havoc with your system. You may want to use a yeast infection med too because the antibiotics are quite strong and you don't need any more discomfort. Amy

The fatty acids in coconut oil are capable of completely killing H. pylori in vitro under conditions that mimic those of an H. pylori-infected stomach. I'd imagine there are other good things like raw garlic and ginger and so on, but it might be a good idea to take 6 tbsp of coconut oil or so for a while. When ulcers were thought to be due to stress, it was thought that milk was helpful because it buffered excess stomach acid. Recent research has shown that its effect was due to the medium-chain fatty acids and monoglycerides that are freed by lingual and gastric lipases. The same fats are found in coconut oil at much higher amounts. Guest guest
I've been trying various things, and watching for a reaction either way. Today is a particularly bad day - but I'm not sure what I did - or did not do - that is making it so much worse. However, now that you mention this, it was a busy day and I did not have any VCO. Well unfortunately there haevn't been, to my knowledge, trials where they tried treating people for H. pylori with VCO. If there were, we could get an idea of how effective, what kind of dose, and so on. But I would think it would be most effective in the highest concentrations -- therefore, as a therapeutic dose on an empty stomach, either before or between meals. A good deliver system is dissolving up to 2 tablespoons in warm water or tea, unless you like eating it off the spoon. Guest guest
Antibiotics do help with h-pylori however you may use mastic gum and DGL as well... Guest guest
Mastic gum has been shown time and time again to kill h pylori very effectively. Others are licorice (which is anti inflammatory and demulcent as well) and just 2 minutes ago read a synopsis on Quassia chips (quassia amara) and it's use in ulcers... Guest guest
Licorice root. I had not seen Munawar's post before me when I sent it but he had already mentioned DGL which stands for " deglyzerised (sp?) licorice " . Licorice which has had the glyzzericic (sp?) acid removed. This is the component that can cause a raise in blood pressure in some people. -D h-pylori Hello. A while ago I have read that one of you guys have successfully gotten rid of h-pylori. Guest guest
Licorice is used in many thing including candies however it has lots of medicinal benefits. I persoanlly used DGL because it does not raise your blood pressure and felt the difference however prolong use of licorice may cause a slight decrease in your sexual performance in terms of erection etc. I have personally experienced it and warnings are also provided by expert naturopaths especially if you are dealing with someone with south asian background. Use it moderrtly because herbs are not side effects free, they do have some side effects. Use Mastic gum from a reliable brand as it does make the difference. I recommend Solaray, it is bit expensive than other brands but its pure and works fast.........To improve digestion use BOLDOCAYNARA from A-Vogel, it is a good detox as well as great remedy to improve digestion. It cleanses your liver as well and gives you a good night sleep. Good Luck! On Fri, Sep 25, 2009 at 9:25 AM, Dave Shelden <wholehealthawareness@...>wrote: > > > Licorice root. Guest guest
I was taking Matula tea last year and my last test from MetaMetrix came negative with it and Candida. This test is very accurate bc it used DNA analysis of all pathogens.See more info below: http://www.ulcer-cure.com/matula.php?AID=89328 I also took supplements like Zink-Carnosine, Barberry, Broccoli, etc but I am not sure they helped much though Zink-Carnozine reduced pain from gastritis. Don't take antibiotics for that bc it will destroy your bacteria in the gut and will cause Candida overgrow as it is happen to me. I suffered from Candida from drugs for 2 years. > > Hello. > > A while ago I have read that one of you guys have successfully gotten rid of h-pylori. Perhaps someone can direct me to a good web site. Guest guest
cANDIDA HAVE MANY SYMPTOMS. I had thrush on my tongue, and for that reason docs belived me I have it. But most of them don`t believe it can be so bad that can stay for life even with drugs. There is one home test not exact but you can try: First time in the morning split in can with water. If saliva is thick it will stay there for a long time without being disscolved. It is mean that you may have candida. Yeast infection in vagina can be diagnosed by gynocologist but it tean to come back even after treatment too. It is not infectious but difficult to rid off. > > > > > > Hello. > > > > > > A while ago I have read that one of you guys have successfully gotten rid of h-pylori.
