Guest guest
<<If I had an ulcer back then, I sure didn't know about it. Had a gut like an iron pot until about 1990-92. Treated for H-Pylori in 1995 and was cured of the duodenal ulcer.>> It is possible to have had bad ulcers and not had much in the way of symptoms. Five years ago I got bleeding ulcers from NSAIDS and was hospitalized. While there the doctor did an endoscopic exam and it showed my stomach was full of not only the new ulcer but lots of old healed ulcers. I remember getting gut aches but they weren't bad enough to go to the ER over. One doctor told me to take Riopan. I didn't have insurance back then and when I had black, tarry stools it was no big deal to me. I don't remember that the bleeding was even connected to the pain. I was surprised when the HMO advice nurse told me to get right to the ER over the tarry stools and discomfort--it wasn't much pain even. Guest guest
PS. Since your digestive tract lining cells turn over faster than any others in the body, cell proliferating substances are very helpful. A couple that come to mind are comfrey root and chlorella algea... -D
Guest guest
This is common with prednisone and Celebrex I had to stop Celebrex and now I take prevacid at least 30 mins before my prednisone. And I make sure I eat something with prednisone.
