Guest guest
I was diagnosed with gallstones more then 20 years ago. Have two sisters that had their gall bladder removed, as well as my mother had to have hers removed in her old age ( she is 86 now, had it removed last year) I met a friend ten years ago that has told me about liver/gallbladder flush. Told me that if it doesn't work for me, I would be the first one. So, I did it (once). Went to the doctor and convinced him to send me for one more ultrasound (just to make sure). To my disappointment, they told me that my gall bladder is just as full with stones as it was before. So, I lost confidence that it really works, and lived with discomfort for 10 years. It took a bad attack last year to convince me that I have to do something about it. So, I went to my doctor again, and again he suggested surgery. However, by now I have discovered that I have a very low platelets count in my blood, so no surgeon was willing to take the risk, afraid of internal bleeding. Referred to a specialist, I had to wait to see him (still waiting). In a mean time, I decided to look into the flush again. Looked on the Internet, found your website, and decided to do it again, understanding that it takes many flushes to get rid of all of my stones. I had printed three different version of what seamed to me the same cleanse. Apple juice first, Epsom salt and olive oil... Well, after taking the olive oil grapefruit mix, I felt nauseated but it didn't hit me until next morning. I had the worst barfing episode of my life, felt like my whole insides are coming out. I did pass a lot of stones later, some of them quite large (see photo attached). I want to do my second flush now, but am very much scared of the vomiting episode. What did I do wrong? How can I prevent it, or what can I take to help it. Would taking gravel help settling my stomach? Or do you have a better suggestion. I am hoping to so the flush this coming weekend, so, if all possible, please reply soon. Regards.

Guest guest
I recommend Hulda 's flush - there are many in this group who have had success with it. Also, before flushing how did you prepare for it? goes over the diet you should adhere to before flushing. Proper diet enhances your success as does a colonic / enema. Keep the faith if you get into a routine you can conquer this if all u have is stones. Invest in Milk thistle , and AF Beta tablets - eat plenty of beets and avocado for starters. This is a fine group you have tapped into and you will get all the support you will need. Guest guest
Hello, Congratulations on your flush! Good for you. > understanding that it > takes many flushes to get rid of all of my stones. Yes. Generally speaking one flush isn't enough. Besides drinking apple juice, did you do anything else to prepare for the flush? >I did pass a lot of stones later, some of them quite large (see >photo attached). Excellent! I want to do my second flush now, but am very much scared of the vomiting episode. What did I do wrong? How can I prevent it, or what can I take to help it. Would taking gravel help settling my stomach? What is gravel? > Or do you have a better suggestion. I am hoping to so the flush >this coming weekend, so, if all possible, please reply soon. > > Regards. > Did you by chance eat anything after 2pm on the day you did the flush? If so, this may be a big part of the reason why you threw up. If you did fast after 2pm, it may be that there was still a good bit of undigested food left in your system during the flush, and this may also have been a factor in the nausea and vomiting. When we take all that olive oil at once, the gall bladder contracts, ejecting some of its contents into the digestive tract. Besides stones, chaff and gunky sludge can also released into the intestines. And if there's still undigested food in our intestinal tract, the body may not be able to eliminate the stones and gunk that have been released from the gall bladder quickly enough. When this happens, it's possible that some of the toxins in the stones and chaff etc can start to be reabsorbed, which can cause us to feel sick to our stomachs and maybe even vomit. So one of the best ways to reduce the risk of nausea and vomiting during a flush is by emptying out the digestive tract as much as possible before drinking the olive oil/citrus juice mixture. Often I'll only take some fruit (like apples or pears) early in the day of the flush, rather than eating any other kind of heavier food. I also like to take something called Homozon prior to doing a flush, either the night before or the morning of the flush. Homozon is magnesium oxide, and taking it liquefies whatever's in the digestive tract and really helps to clean it out. There are other magnesium oxide products available, like Colosan and OxyPowder, as well as herbs like senna and cascada sagrada, all of which increase motility and help to evacuate the alimentary canal. Another suggestion is to do an enema (or two) some time during the afternoon of the flush in order to eliminate as much fecal matter from the system as possible. You may also wish to do a coffee enema a day or two after your flush, which encourages even more detoxing of the liver and gall bladder while expediting the removal of any stones or chaff that may be remaining in the intestinal tract. And finally, keep some ginger or peppermint tea on hand to sip on, or perhaps nibble on some candied ginger. Both ginger and peppermint are very helpful in settling an upset tummy and relieving nausea. elan
Guest guest
I've had nausea in the past. I do 3 extra things now to prevent it from happening. 1. Sluggish impacted intestines can promote nausea during a gb flush. Salt water flush every day for 3 days prior to the flush: http://www.cleansingorsurgery.com/saltwaterflush.htm Even the morning after the flush before I drink my 3rd epsom salts I drink the salt and warm water. About an hour later I drink the 3rd dose of epsom salts. 2. Hot packs on the liver area after drinking the olive oil, grapefruit etc. Lie immediately on the right side and heat up the liver area for at least 2 hours. 3. 1 or 2 drops of peppermint oil. Acts as an anti nauseant. Hope that helps, Brad > > I was diagnosed with gallstones more then 20 years ago. Guest guest
I am overwhelmed with your support. Thank you all very much. As far as the fast before 2PM, well, I didn't eat anything at all that day, period. I only drank a lot of apple cider. Also, wanted to make clear that I didn't vomit any food. First, there was trace of olive oil (it tasted and smelled like olive oil), then later, believe it or not, I was puking gall bile itself. Not a lot of it, mind you, but at times I was gasping for breath, that's how bad of a reflex I've had. Did I drink too much olive oil (3/4 of a cup)? Gravol (I have misspelled it in original post) is an over the counter medicine to help treat nausea and vomiting. Should I try it? Or will it undermine the flush success? Guest guest
The ginger that Elan mentioned is the most anti nausea substance known to man. More effective than Dramamine... -D Re: nausea I am overwhelmed with your support. Thank you all very much. As far as the fast before 2PM, well, I didn't eat anything at all that day, period. Guest guest
Hi Yoka, Even though it sucks to puke, whatever comes up is better out than in. Maybe because you fasted the whole day of the flush, this caused peristalsis to slow down...? One way or another, your body needed to purge itself fast, and evidently upchucking was the quickest way it could do this. Hopefully, if you use some of the suggestions being offered here on your next flush, everything will come out the other end. Did you take all four doses of dissolved epsom salt? (2 in the evening before drinking the oil and 2 the next morning) This is important for a couple of reasons, but in large part because it keeps things moving internally by causing the bowels to evacuate rapidly and repeatedly. I don't think it's harmful to drink 3/4 of a cup of oil, but from what I understand, most people generally take 1/2 cup. This is the amount Hulda 's protocol calls for. As for taking gravol...it's a pharmaceutical drug designed to suppress symptoms. One of the reasons peoples' livers get congested and need flushing in the first place is because many of us have taken too many man-made drugs over the course of our lifetimes. Our bodies were never designed to deal with these kinds of suppressive synthetic pharmaceuticals. So taking a drug like gravol while working to heal our bodies by cleansing our internal organs would be counterproductive. elan > > > I am overwhelmed with your support.
