Guest guest
for whatever GERD is suppose to be take apple cider vinegar...a spoonful or two. Matter of fact, take a spoonful before dinner everyday. You can do it straight like I do or you can mix it in water. Enjoy. From: charger5150 <charger5150@...> Subject: Question about a GB Attack? gallstones Date: Saturday, February 14, 2009, 8:06 AM Hello everyone. I was wondering, when I have a GB attack, am I supposed to have pain under MY RIGHT SHOULDER or MY LEFT SHOULDER because I seem to have pressure/gas and massive hiccups and not pain but an unpleasant feeling in the center of the rib cage( Where you can get the wind nocked out of you) and towards my left. I have been diagnosed with gall- stones from an ultrasound and GERD but I don't get any pain on MY RIGHT SIDE(weird!) . I'm just asking because I wake up sometimes between 2am and 8am with massive hiccups, sometimes I dry-heave.I take NEXIUM 40mg for the GERD and it helps a lot but I've just had another episode of GERD even after taking the NEXIUM. Guest guest
, this is the typical situation where they do some type of imaging or palpation, discover gallstones, and then diagnose based on an assumption... And you know what that makes of you and me... That little purple pill is gonna mess you up big time. The GERD needs to be dealt with in some other way. your left side pain is most likely not. Gallstones... Always, in all ways, -Dave Question about a GB Attack? Hello everyone. Guest guest
Well, i am the most recent victim of the same symptoms, pain on left side with all the symptoms you mentioned. Go for GI series upper test and i am sure you will diagonosed with peptic ulcer. Same thing happened to me, i have gallstones as wll and doctors were insisting that i should remove my GB. After doing GI series they found that i have ulcer and later my h pylori is positive as well. I am on tripple therapy these days. Go for the test. good luck On Sat, Feb 14, 2009 at 12:20 PM, Dave Shelden <wholehealthawareness@... > wrote: > , > > this is the typical situation where they do some type of imaging or > palpation, discover gallstones, and then diagnose based on an assumption... > And you know what that makes of you and me... Guest guest
Hi Dave. I was tested for h pylori and it came back negative. I also did the " swallow', where you drink the white liquid and they scan your stomach and esophagus and that came out negative for ulcers or hernia. I tried the apple cider vinegar and it worked sometimes but the problems did come back. It must be that my gallstones are preventing my liver from making enough bile for my stomach to digest foods and creating a lot of gas from the food not getting digested properly. Plus the pancrius is releasing what it releases and the combination of the two are creating an unbalanced mixture in the stomach and all because of the gallstones. This is my theory anyway. I'll probably have to go to the butcher pretty soon if my problems persist. Guest guest
Like with any medical issue, not everyone displays the exact same symptoms. Just because you do not have the shoulder pain really doesn't mean much.

Guest guest
Hi , Your gallbladder cannot prevent your liver from making enough bile; it is not an inline anatomical position. Liver/gallbladder and pancreas excrete into the small intestine. Highly doubtful still that your symptoms are from gallbladder dysfunction exclusively and entirely possible not at all. the fact that you have gallstones is an indicator of digestive dysfunction, but this is not necessarily cause and effect. Having your gallbladder removed may very likely not only fail to give you relief, but may compound your issues. -D . Question about a GB Attack? > > Hello everyone.
