Guest guest
I have been trying to figure out what is going on with me for months. I had a gall bladder ultrasound that showed no stones so the doctor decided to check out my stomach. He said I had gastritis but it was mild and should clear up. I have had pain/pressure under my right rib cage since May 2008. It is more discomfort than severe pain. I have always heard that a gall bladder attack would be severe pain. Is this true? The pain is mostly under my rib but I can feel stabbing around my right should blade at times. Can your gall bladder cause pain even if you don't have stones? What foods trigger an attack except the obvious fatty, fried foods? I do have a small cup of coffee in the morning. I did a flush but am not really ready to try one again. Are there small things I can do to help if this is indeed my gall bladder? Thanks,
Guest guest
Pain under your right rib cage and right shoulder blade are classic symptoms of GB issues. My understanding is that ultrasounds only show calcified stones. They do not show cholesterol stones or " sludge " that build up in gallbladders. My ultrasound was negative as well, but I have passed many stones since then that I am assuming are the cholesterol stones. They do not look like the pictures that I have seen of calcified stones. They look more like small chick peas. Hope this helps... --- In gallstones , " Kay " <heatherkay08@...> wrote: > > I have been trying to figure out what is going on with me for months. Guest guest
Do you continue to have pain/discomfort? Mine seems to come and go but I have been dealing with this episode since yesterday morning. Re: Gall bladder pain without stones? Guest guest
I only had one severe " attack " which was a couple of years ago. But since then I get frequent mild discomfort in my lower back on the right side if I eat certain foods. I have not done any flushes in a long time as I am focusing on other health issues right now. However, I am anxious to do some more flushes to see if it helps my discomfort. I am also thinking about trying the chanca piedra as well after I get some other issues resolved. I had been advised to not do different types of body cleansing simultaneously. That may be too hard on you. For example, you shouldn't be taking steps to cleanse liver/GB, colon, kidneys, heavy metals, etc. all at the same time. This is probably good advice. Right now I am focusing on heavy metals and candida. > > > > I have been trying to figure out what is going on with me for > months. Guest guest
, It will probably come and go based on your diet, hormones, and stress levels. But yeah, if you are vigilant you can avoid the doctor completely. You really need to pay attention to your body and what you can or can't tolerate well. And eat lots of healthy liver/gall bladder foods! I took a tsp. of apple cider vinegar twice yesterday and I feeling a lot better. Is this something that will probably come and go but doesn't require doctor intervention? The doctor I saw said that he probably wouldn't touch my gall bladder if it isn't giving me a lot of trouble and it isn't at this point. It's just off and on and goes from mild to moderate pain/pressure. Have a blessed day! Evie Maddox
