Hi Karma,

I'm glad that things are coming along nicely for your business. Its nice

to have someone on the list that knows about herbs an such. I've had an

interest in herbs and alternative medicine for a while now. If I had the

money I would take some courses in it. Well maybe someday.

Do you like The adv. BF tape? I've been thinking about ordering it. How

is it different from the original BF tape?

I'm glad the cleanses are helping you to get your body back. It's like an

alien took it, and the cleanses are bringing it back to you. LOL

Have a great day!

Love, Liz

Hi Liz,

I was very busy over the weekend. Trying to get the rest of the inventory on the net for my site. Then I can put up specific topic pages so it is easier to find a specific product. I also finished my 7 days on the cleanse. Today back to normal eating for a while.

This week I am really focusing on toning up my body. I am feeling really good, cause I lost some more inches and weight. I am almost at my goal weight and size.

I have done the BodyFlex Advanced Workout, only I substitute the LifeLift breath instead. I have done the #2 LifeLift workout, and my Calanetics stomach workout.

Sounds like you had a busy weekend too.

I am still here, I rarely go anywhere other than to work. I have just been

fighting with our apartment complex on trying to get them to fix some

plumbing problems. I have had to resort to calling the building inspector

and even so, our apartment complex are still dragging their feet about fixing

the stopped up toilet and the damage done from the leaks from last sunday.

Do these people understand the health risks they put our children in because

they don't do their jobs in a timely fashion or make repairs correctly? I am

so tired of fighting just to have a safe and healthy place for my child to

live.

Didn't I read a post about lead poisoning last week? Was that you that

Hi Carol,

I just saw 48 hours show about this bad mold that will grow

when water doesn't get cleaned up. All sorts of health problems.

Hi Gail,

I'm here, reading as usual, and wondering the same thing. For some

reason, getting started and staying going with homeschooling is more

difficult this year. My oldest 2 just got their books for the year

yesterday (11th and 10th grades), and I am designing Dan's curriculum

(9th grade) for the first time ever. I see what needs to be done

(concentrate on reading and writing) but I think I am piling the work on

too much. Last night it was 8pm before he was finsihed. Now, granted, he

didnt' work without stop straight through, but neither would he if he

were in " regular school " . I think rebellion is in the air.

is actually doing 2 curriculae (I need to re-learn the endings on

my latin words- how to make it plural!) and she is 11-need I say more????

Her mind is definately not here for concentrating, and now she has

" forgotten " how to multiply larger numbers, divide at all other than 12

divided by 2 or some such thing, and even forgotten most of her

multiplication facts!

The psychiatrist decided to try Matt back on Ritalin-time released this

time. He had been on regular ritalin 15 int he am and 10-15 in the

afternoon for a long time. Actually started on Ritalin when he was 3.

This past December, he had surgery, they gave him Morphine IV for pain

and he is on an Opiod Antagonist (Naltrexone) and should not have had any

morphine. This screwed up his system sooooo bad. (Some may remember my

incessant ramblings of the time). When we put him back on ritalin after

the pain lessened and he started getting wild again, he developed a tic.

Never had it again, but it was definately there. That is when we looked

for and found this psychiatrist. We put him on Risperdal which has been

very successful. Tried Adderal first, but that didnt' work well, made him

really mean. Now, we tried the Ritalin again, and the help it gives his

concentration is so remarkable, but the tics are getting worse. It hurts

my neck just to watch it.

I tried 1/2 of one yesterday, but the tics were just as strong, but the

concentration is not there at all. So, I have to wait until the middle of

October until we can get back into the shrink! So, that is what I have

been doing lately!

Yes, that was me, we called the health department, they don't get involved

with rental properties. Called enviromental health department, they referred

me to the building inspector. Called him, he can't get out until sometime

next week. Meanwhile one of the other apartments here their ceiling caved in

due from water damage and 5 people were injured but thank God not seriously.

You would think that the apartment complex would wake up after that, but we

are still waiting for them to come fix ours. I informed them yesterday that

I could still take a suit out against them for the lead poisoning but they

said they weren't worried.

I know exactly what you mean about school! We are having a hard time getting

into the swing too. Becky is so quick and eager to learn. jo is VERY

SLOW and we have to repeat, repeat, repeat everything! I do my own

curriculum and I think maybe I'm to tough on her. I will have to cut some

things out and go slower with her things. LATIN??????? LOL We got the

books and tape. WOW I gave up after lesson one for now. We do Polish

every week, so I am letting it slide with that this year. Sure hope things

work out with Matt. Do the Tics bother him, or just you? My uncle had one

and as I recall he said it was painful. Hope I am remembering that wrong.

Poor Matt. Hope things get easier as the year rolls on. Glad you're here

this weekend. I thought something was wrong with my computer! LOL

Gail,

What Latin did you get? This will be our 3rd year of trying Latin (And it

is looking like the 3rd year of not doing it!) started out

Freshman year with " Henle Latin " through Seton Home Study School! Being

our first year of homeschooling, and having little grammar background

(For either or I!), it quickly dropped by the wayside. Then last

year, a friend of ours offered to teach us all Latin, using " Ecce!

Romani " , a secular, very good book. I bought 1 hardback book, 5 workbooks

(One for each , Marie, Dan, , and me), and a grammar workbook

for English students of Latin (5 of those also). She came once a week,

for a quarter, then moved back to Cincinnati, and we never finished. So,

this year I got " Latina Christiana " and " Famous Men of Rome " and we have

done it a couple of times, (, Dan and Me), but with all the other

work, it is very difficult to get it in. If it is finishing English or

Math, or doing Latin, English or Math wins out! I'm not giving up, but

maybe once a schedule is more set, we can work it in a few days a week!

Even if we all just learn some of the prayers in latin, I would be happy.

Oh, we also tried for a semester, an on line Church Latin course.

and I did do that, but I remember little, and the other kids I know

didn't do theirs. It quickly got really hard. I like going at our own

pace.

Sorry, everyone, that this was off topic for DS-ASD.
