Could be a combination. Several other groups I'm a member of have

delayed posts during that time.

Just think - how much could you accomplish if you had NO debt payments

except a mortgage?

Eldred - your tagline about being debt free.. Dave Ramsay method? I need

to learn how to act my wage. *sigh*

I also moderate a group - a FREECYCLE group. Need to be reminded why.

When I took it over, there were just under 500 now there are over 5000 and

not all of them are mentally stable.

You like " stuff " , too? Yep, that's a tough one... :-)

Do you have a written budget?

LOL! I've seen some 'discussions' on a couple local FreeCycle groups spiral

into ridiculousness... Scary, actually. :-(

I sometimes wonder how easily they can figure out where I live. I don't

hide it because I am a demonstrator for a direct selling company.. so

that's less safe.

Written budget? Sorta. Guess I'll sorta be ok, eh?

I agree, I think the moderator should start a Database, and anyone who wants to

add where they are from can add to it, so that we all know where to find

friends. BTW, I'm in land.

A written budget is just you telling your money where to go instead of wondering

where it went. You can use a computer program, excel spreadsheet, or even a

yellow pad and paper. Once you do your budget, you'll feel like you got a

raise. :-)

I can understand that. But at least you have an 'accountability

partner'. Those of us who are single don't have that. So it's easier

to 'cheat'. If I were married, it would be harder to take money from

the grocery envelope for something else, knowing I'd have to explain

it to my wife.
