Guest guest
Hello group, Tomorrow afternoon I am seeing a gastroenterologist for a 2nd opinion. In the month that I have waited to see him, I have changed much about the way I was eating and my stresses. I was able to just drop everything that was on my life's plate. I believe that I was eating darn good, it was mainly that i was eating very late and there were some things I could have done without. And happily am now. The family stresses are the same, but not also. I have been voicing my needs and setting more verbal boundaries, and all this has helped tremendously. I am also now eating about 3 hours before going to bed. I have been eating just fish and fish broth and drinking a lot of apple juice and having soft veggies. And just really been trying to rest a lot. All the doctors I have been to so far, have agreed that this was the best thing I could have done for myself. I had been having attacks for over a year's time. It's a long story. I have been worried more about the stones getting stuck during a cleanse. So I have continuously talked myself out of doing it. Since going to the first gastroenterologist, each time I have had a flare up, I have drank a mixture of 8oz of Apple Juice and 1/2 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar and after a short while of a different kind of uncomfortable pain, all was gone. Sore yes, but far better than at any other time. My question to you good folks is this - is there any way that the gastroenterologist I am going to see tomorrow can tell what size my stones are from the ultrasound of them? Is this something that any of you worried about before you did your cleanses? I do not know of any person around me that choose to do a cleanse(s) rather than an operation. So I stand alone and have no real people to talk to about this. I really do not want to have my gb taken out. By my choices made, I caused much of my own suffering. I feel if I made myself sick - to an extent - then can't I help me to get better, without having to lose a body part that folks seem to think is okay to toss. Thank you for any input you can send my way! Amelia
