Guest guest
For problems with stomach take DGL Chewable, one tablet 20 minutes before you eat and Mastic Gum one capusle in the morning and one before going to bed, the combination really works......although i have removed my gallbladder but ulcers in my stomach are still bothering me and since i started using this combination, i am feeling very comfortable.....You can find Mastic Gum and DGL at www.vitacost.com at a very reasonable price as compare to other stores and online. Guest guest
No way would ACV harm your stomach. While mildly acidic it is extremely dilute in comparison to your own production of HCL. Damage from ibuprofen is a real possibility. One recent study with Tylenol showed liver damage in as little as 2 days at the label dosage... All of the NSAIDs are very hard on the entire digestive mucosa. Epsom salts is magnesium sulfate. Can't imagine even in the UK that it would not be available at a pharmacy minimum but most likely like here in the US at any grocery store in the home remedy section. Chancha peidra is also known as bhumy amalaki (scientific name phyllanthus nururi) in Ayurveda and will be available at any East Indian herb or spice store most likely. I believe the professional group for herbalists there in the UK is NIMH (National Institute of Medical Herbalists, or something like that), they would be a good source of info on availability. As to diet, try the archives here. Should be tons of information. Taking an herb like wild cherry bark, apricot pit, Jamaican dogwood, cramp bark, etc. should help keep the gallbladder from going into spasm. These will do nothing for bloating, nausea, gas, and the like but will ward off the gut locking pain as you heal yourself. And of course magnesium in smaller quantities than the flush will also help to keep muscle out of spasm. Good luck, -D Is it possible for ACV to harm your stomach Is it possible for ACV to harm your stomach? I had some treatment for damage to my stomach caused by (as the doctors told me) overuse of Ibuprofren but I think it was damaged by Hpylori Both of these were treated successfully but att he same time i was also diagnosed with gallstones and infected gallbladder and advised removal this is 10 months ago but i said no i will try to treat it my self by diet and following this group. I use ACV a lot recently and especially after my bad attack on holiday I dont seem to have got back to normal although i am now back from hols and had 1st good night sleep but i still wake up in pain this morniing and am worried i might cause harm to my stomach from the ACV? For some reason I am exceptionally emotionally and am worried I may end up having the surgery especially afer my friend just told me she had it while i was away on holiday. Can someone give me a link for the best foods to eat please as I am starting a new job on monday and dont want to be off sick when i just started. I am in the uk and have trouble finding beta foods and epsom salts? Also where can I buy chandra piedra i read about? Thank you so much Are you sure you want to send this message? Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for asking, i am doing okay, no more painful attacks......however, i had 3 ulcers in my stomach with gastritis which is giving me a bit of trouble.....fortunately, digestion is not an issue for me and i did not get diareeha as well......i am struggling with my ulcers now.....my family physician put me on acid-reducers however i am using natural treatement. I take DGL one tablet before every meal and one capsule of Mastic Gum in the morning one before going to be. Which is very helpful. Especillay, i feel a verrrrrrry deep sleep ever since i started taking mastic gum before going to bed, i dont know but it really gives me a very relaxing deep sleep. I could not find any scietific evidince of mastic gum on sleep but it does, i dont know the reason why. I have done an ultrasound and liver function test twice after the surgery and my blood test are all normal so is the ultrasound report. Someone is now advising me to include bile salts as a daily supplement for digestion but i shall check with my doctor first. One of my surgery wounds is a bit painful, still after a month or so. So i am going to discuss this with my surgeon as well. Other than that i am doing okay, atleast i dont have to go to emergency every other day which is the biggest relief. Just for the information purpose i writing what are the natural stuff i am taking these days. DGL Mastic Gum UDO's Oil 369 Flaxseed in a glass of water every morning and to get the swaet out of body i eat green chilli with each meal, i remove the seeds to reduce the intensity of spicy taste and it brings out the sweat from each pore of my body and i feel very realx. Caynee paper ofr green chili is good for circulation. I eat garlic pickle as well and try to eat more vegetables. In terms of meat i avoid beef and eat goat meat. Dairy products i completely avoid b.coz of gastritis because it dairy gives you lots of gas. Thats it and wish me luck, any suggestions will be highly apprecaited. Guest guest
I am sure not an expert on the subject, but here is my understanding: Most of the time taking acid-reducers is the wrong thing to do. It may give you temporary relief, but can make the problem worse. The problem for many people is not that there is too much acid in the stomach, but that it stays there too long. There is a valve between the stomach and the small intestine that opens when the ph gets down to a certain level. If the ph is not reached, the valve does not open causing the stomach contents including the acid to stay too long. Why does this happen? Improper food combining is a major culprit. For example, do you eat protein and carbs at the same meal? A lack of stomach acid, particulary as you age, can cause this as well. Some people take HCL for this. Hope this helps... > > > > > > > > > > > Is it possible for ACV to harm your stomach? > > > I had some treatment for damage to my stomach caused by (as the doctors > > > told me) overuse of Ibuprofren but I think it was damaged by Hpylori Both > > of > > > these were treated successfully but att he same time i was also diagnosed > > > with gallstones and infected gallbladder and advised removal this is 10 > > > months ago but i said no i will try to treat it my self by diet and > > > following this group. > > > I use ACV a lot recently and especially after my bad attack on holiday > > > I dont seem to have got back to normal although i am now back from hols > > and > > > had 1st good night sleep but i still wake up in pain this morniing and am > > > worried i might cause harm to my stomach from the ACV? > > > For some reason I am exceptionally emotionally and am worried I may end > > up > > > having the surgery especially afer my friend just told me she had it > > while > > i > > > was away on holiday. > > > Can someone give me a link for the best foods to eat please as I am > > > starting a new job on monday and dont want to be off sick when i just > > > started. > > > I am in the uk and have trouble finding beta foods and epsom salts? Also > > > where can I buy chandra piedra i read about? > > > Thank you so much > > > > > > > > > Are you sure you want to send this message? > > > > > > > > > > > > >
