Guest guest
First of all, I've been a lurker here for some time. I'm kind of interested in doing a gallbladder flush, but am hesitant to get started. I also work nights and cannot take off several days to do a flush. I need to be able to work. I frequently get to bed at 4:00 a.m., and sometimes do end up eating just before I go to bed. I work at home doing medical transcription, but have always been interested in alternative medical care. When I woke up this morning, I had some low-level back pain and spasm, just above the right sacroiliac joint and somewhat above it. I couldn't get comfortable no matter what position, on the right or left side, or on my back. I'm also heavy, so my belly would kind of flip around. I'm also type II diabetic, so I am not sure I could get away with drinking much apple juice. The right side of my abdomen has a fullness to it; the same doctor who diagnosed me with type II diabetes told me it was " gallbladder. " I stopped going to him because I wan't happy with him, and I never got worked up further. As the day went on today, I got some pain across both upper quadrants of my abdomen, mostly dull and bloated feeling; not sharp. I got nauseated, and had two separate episodes of retching... mostly dry heaves, but also some liquid food came up. I drank some water, and also took a glass of water with generic Alka-Seltzer dissolved in it, which helped a bit. I stayed in bed most of the day, eventually slept some more, and finally got up this evening and took a shower. I'm still a little nauseated, and my back is still somewhat uncomfortable. I took the day off. I'm going to print out the information from this website regarding doing gallbladder flushes. I think I already have most of the ingredients necessary... olive oil, lemons, Epsom salts, filtered water. I would appreciate comments from folks on the following issues: 1. I'm hoping to be able to do a gallbladder flush (eventually several), but I need to be able to work during the days this is going on. I'm hoping that I won't have to just stay in bed for the whole time. 2. Also, will I be able to eat regular food (mostly a low-carb diet) in addition to taking the gallbladder flush? 3. I'm also wondering if my nocturnal habits will change what must be done for a gallbladder flush. Thanks in advance. I'm kind of scared to go through with a flush, but I'm also wanting to avoid surgery if possible. I think that what I just went through today is a mild gallbladder attack, compared to other people's experiences which I've typed up and read about.
