Guest guest
Well I joined this group to educate myself and I was convinced I didn't need the surgery. Then I had the unlucky situation of a gallstone in my duct and I was in severe pain for 36 hours. I got through those hours with some pain meds my physican had presribed to me just in case. After 36 hours I finally caved because the pain meds were not helping at all. I ended up having to have my gallbladder removed. Morphine was the only thing that could stop the pain. It was very scary and I am glad it is over. My gallbladder was in terrible condition and I am only 39. Sad but it is over and now my focus is recovery. I have had back pain but I never had back pain with my gb attack. Is this just a normal part of recovery? I am still not walking 100% upright so I am thinking it may be muscular. It is present when I sit up or walk not when I lay down. Any advice? Chantal
