Guest guest
Below is a snippet from an interesting article entitled " Untold Gallstones, Liver and Gallbladder Story " pasted from this page: http://home.online.no/~dusan/diseases/story/story_third_view.html It is the job of the liver to make bile, 1 to 1.5 quarts in a day! The liver is full of tubes (biliary tubing) that deliver the bile to one large tube (the common bile duct). The gallbladder is attached to the common bile duct and acts as a storage reservoir. Eating fats triggers the liver to produce more bile, and triggers the gallbladder to squeeze itself empty while food is passing through duodenum, and the stored bile finishes its trip down the common bile duct to the intestines (duodenum) . Liver usually manage to take most of the toxins (that it can recognize) out of our body.
