Link is below " Classical Mom " . This is one of Ingrid Naiman's sites. This

woman is fantastic. Should tool around her other sites when you get a chance

(she wrote the definitive book on escarotic cancer salves). Getting on her

mailing list is quite educational as well. -D

In complete agreement. I was not actually purporting her protocol for all the

reasons you mentioned. She is a highly educated woman but her main herbal

learning looks to be " Wise Woman " , nothing wrong but there is so much more. In

all fairness to her as well, her flush is not designed to work the same. It is

designed to emulsify or soften with the citric acid and the shear volume of

olive oil over the period of times keeps a constant flow and mild stimulation to

both the liver and gallbladder. No big wam bam like the other flushes. It is

her other stuff and experiences such as the State Dept. that twist my crank.

She is now into sustainable landscaping and has a very interesting site

developing. Wealth of knowledge in so many areas...

She sells that particular product which is one of Tierra's

formulas. All are great but nothing magical. There is a direct statistical

correlation between gallstones and kidney stones by the way. Even though they

are in different organs it is similar energetic imbalances behind both.

Stagnation and congealing. The protocol for kidney stones is 3oz of fresh lemon

juice mixed with 3oz of olive oil 3 times per day for 3 days. Bloody

incredible. Has worked for clients 100% of the time so far over the 4 years I

have been using it. Gets them out of pain usually in a matter of a few hours.

Many herbs that are supportive of the kidneys are supportive of the liver and

visa versa. -D

Hi Dave,

Yes, Ingrid has a bunch of websites with loads of great articles and

information, and her focus is often from the perspective of the Ayurvedic

approach to health and healing.

However I agree with Brad that her recommendation to take 1.5-2 cups of olive

oil for a liver flush by sipping it over time is off base.

I've done about 7 or 8 flushes so far, and each time I mix 1/2 a cup of high

quality, organic extra virgin olive oil with 1/2 a cup of freshly squeezed

grapefruit, shake them together in a glass jar and chug the whole thing down at

once. I've never puked the mixture once, and the next morning without fail,

stones, chaff and sludge come pouring out.

I never have any aversion to consuming oils in my diet after doing a flush

either, as she suggest will happen after doing her protocol.

There's also no mention of using epsom salt in her protocol, which IMO is a

really important component of any liver flush, as the magnesium sulfate not only

helps to relax biliary ducts which encourages and eases the passing of stones

and gunk, but can also help to stimulate the contraction of the gall bladder.

(Here's an article with more information on the important role played by epsom

salt in the liver flush)

http://curezone.com/blogs/fm.asp?i=985355<http://curezone.com/blogs/fm.asp?i=985\

Neither does she recommend doing a castor oil pack and/or an enema prior to

the flush, nor does she suggest doing a coffee enema after the flush, all of

which can dramatically enhance the overall effectiveness of the cleanse.

I also think it's more beneficial to simply use straight milk thistle,

dandelion and/or chaca piedra to cleanse and support the liver than it is to use

that Stone Free product she mentions, which contains a bunch of different herbs,

some of which look to be geared more toward dealing with kidney stones.

I've learned a lot from Ingrid and continue to have a lot of respect for her,

but I think the liver flush protocol she recommends on that link really falls

short of the mark.

Kidney stones are made up mostly of calcium oxalate. That is why you have to

stay away from things like beet greens, spinach, rhubarb, etc. There is a

calcium salt deposit factor in gallstones as well. try the book " The Calcium

Bomb " . Seems that there may be a nano bacteria that creates a calcium shell

which then begins to build up systemically. Excellent book. The protocol seems

to be dissolusive to the stones. Have not had a client that got a follow up

ultrasound though. The one that I learned it on was a guy with no health

insurance and a 9mm (big for a kidney stone. Think the gallbladder duct is

small and hard to pass things through? Try the ureter...) stone in a difficult

spot. Scheduled surgery but his girlfriend found this protocol. Within the

first application he was off the morphine and on ibuprophen only; after the

second application pain free. His urine got very frothy but never passed

anything that he could call a stone. He came to me 2 weeks later and I could

find no sign with my methods. 5 years ago, no repeat attacks. Citric acid is

very softening to kidney stones (gall as well). So much so that even though

calcium is a main component of the stones, calcium citrate has been shown in

several studies to promote dissolution. Will address Ingrid's other escapades

off group. -D

Yes, this makes good sense. And in some cases calcification is involved too,

right?

The more I look into these things, the more it seems calcification is a

significant factor in many chronic conditions...kind of like barnacles building

Fantastic! Thanks so much for letting us know about this.

Does it just relieve the pain, or does it actually result in the passage of

kidney stones?

Oh no. Just if someone had stones and even then it is more out of theory than

anything else. -D

Re: Natural diet-Gall Stones - kitchendoctor.com

Dave, are you suggesting that everyone stay away from spinach or just those

prone to kidney stones? I eat fresh spinach 4 - 5 days a week!
