Guest guest
Just a thought, and this may be obvious, but when I take any kind of vitamin on an empty stomach I get REALLY nauseous. I always make sure to take vitamins with a meal. Could this be it??
Guest guest
Zinc causes the nausea, and not in all children. Even though it is recommended on an emply stomach, you may give it with some food to avoid this, although asorbtion is probably not as good. Also we use Kirkman liquid and we have not had the problem at all. Leah > Hi, > > I just started my son on Magnesium (50%of RDA) and Zinc (20 mg). He weighs > 40 lb. The first night he was fine. Guest guest
Hello : I don't know abou the magnesium but zinc is hard for many to keep down on an empty stomach. Try giving the zinc with food. This is what helps my children. In Christ's love and mine...Jen : ) On Fri, 20 Apr 2001 07:32:10 EDT MLBarbera@... writes: Hi, I just started my son on Magnesium (50%of RDA) and Zinc (20 mg). Guest guest
Vertigo will cause nausea . Have you tried an antihistamine like Benadryl or Dimatap. Sometimes it is a sinus problem that causes the Vertigo which brings on the nausea. I know it is a horrible feeling, my mom, my sisters and I get vertigo. My sister had an Eply maneuver done to re-align the crystals in her ear. She has been fine for 3 yrs. My moms , mine, and my other sisters comes from sinuses. It even hurts my trigeminal nerve from the pressure. I don't even feel stuffed up, it just happens and a benadryl will knock it out. I truly hope it is not an attack and that you feel better soon. If it started with LDN and your filler is ither Avicel or Lactose you may have an allergy. Switch filler to Acidophilus. Avicel caused me nausea. Guest guest
Hi Joanna, you might try some ginger root, just cut a piece of fresh ginger root, most stores sell it, and chew on it, or try the ginger root extract or capsules, all very cheap, and I know it works well for pregnent women with nausea. Good Luck, Sincerely, Betty

Guest guest
Hi Joanna (and all), I have the vertigo problems also and highly agree with the sinus factor. I am gonna try benedryl next time. Here is one thing that sounds really off the wall but helps me. I find that when I have the worst vertigo symptoms, I usually have my hair pulled pack in barrettes or a ponytail. I usually let the hair down for a bit and it 'eases' up. I know it sounds weird but a lot of us women (I guess men also) don't realize what we do to ourselves sometimes. All in the name of not having to deal with the hot curling iron or just getting the long hair out of the way. --- Bren <TwisterAlley2@...> wrote: > > > ok. i'm officially having an attack. i am raising > my dose slowly as it > > seems to make me sick if i go up too abruptly. > currently 3.5 mgs. > > anyway, i have nausea almost constantly, and was > wondering if anyone > > knows anything other than meclazine or marinol or > compazine that will > > work to alliviate this most upsetting symptom. i > have vision > > disturbances and vertigo for over a year now. i > have never had any > > associated constant nausea however. any feedback > is greatly > > appreciated. please email me directly if possible. > oh, i do know that > > it is probably in my brain, as everything else > seems to be lol. thank > > you. > > > > joanna > ========= > > Did you start having nausea when you started LDN or > before you started? Guest guest
Hi Jess: Glad your posting. I remembered who you were. Your Dad was great at trying to get answers for you awhile back. Sounds like your getting to know all the things that go with CML. I read Lottie's note to you, and I am on Nexium for my reflux. Maybe thats what helps me not to get nausea anymore. As for the fatigue, with me its just there constantly since I was diagnosed in 1998. I just live with it. Let us know how your blood work is running, and how your doing with all of that. The joint pain should get better to an extent also. Just keep doing what your doing, and keep a Positive attitude. Take Care
Guest guest
Hi, I tried the liver/gallbladder flush and found it to be intolerable. I got nauseous and had a headache and felt sleepy thirty to forty minutes after taking the first dose of epsom salts in water. I felt horrid the next day also even though I stopped after the first dose. I will never take epsom salts in water again. Can anyone recommend an alternative flush that won't make me so sick? Thank you!
Guest guest
Hi Lily, Your reabsorbing the toxins dumped by your gb and liver. You can take some toxin binders 1 hour after drinking the gb flush ingredients to prevent this from happening. Experiment and try either activated charcoal (health food stores carry this), chlorella, about 1/2 a teaspoon of hydrated bentonite clay. I'm using combinations of two of those. You need an alternative way to detoxify the system. The best way I know is to bypass the Liver and Kidneys by using the skin. Heat and Far Infrared Rays both have a synergistic benefit to the body. I've talked to many people who used a combination of this sauna, coffee enemas (I would use coffee enemas every 2 days), and supplemental suppositories to recover from various illnesses. I would purchase a far infrared sauna and gradually increase the frequency of use until you reach every day, then increase the temp and duration in the sauna. I'm up to 45 minutes, 49 degrees every 2 days now. Your going to feel not so good when your detoxing but that is to be expected. I would not start the suppositories until I have done at least a few months of sauna and coffee enemas. Its too much detox for most people if you start all those at once. The EDTA suppositories are good but make sure to take the activated charcoal or chlorella the next morning for intestinal detox. Also use the charcoal or chlorella 1 hour after sauna. Take minerals right after sauna as well with lots of water. Also the following supplement has really helped me too: This company has serrapeptase with no mag stearate or silicon dioxide. They sell the enteric coated capsules and also if requested will sell vegan vegi caps which only contains vegetable cellulose: http://www.goodhealthstore.ca/pd_serraezyme_80000iu_-_new_super_capsules.cfm > > Hi, > I tried the liver/gallbladder flush and found it to be intolerable. Guest guest
Just putting some things together here Tug. I second the previous post about mineral supps or tri-salts to make up for what you lose in the sauna. You're on a limited diet and distilled water will pull minerals from your body, because it contains no minerals. Distilled water makes my stomach hurt too and it's actually considered dangerous to drink in Europe and Japan because of mineral depletion. Muscle cramping could be related to mineral or salt depletion. Maybe check into drinking mineral water and supplementing minerals? A good sea salt can help but probably isn't enough with regular sauna use. With my hypersensitive girls, mineral supps from a reputable source have been tolerated pretty well, while vitamin supps often aren't. Guest guest
RE: the SM question, my ND told me yesterday that the CSM might not be the right approach to mold toxins detox for my son BECAUSE his gut is such a mess, it could do more harm than good.... and I agree there is a root cause for the nausea....my son gets it alot because his gut is such a mess.... Guest guest
Dave, yes cramoing is very frequently from mineral depletion. If all your water is diatilled that would definateky be leaching minerals from your body. One cheap way to get a lot of minerals is to make a bone broth that you use as a base for soups and that sort of thing. You basically simmer bones for hours which draws minerals out into the water and also gelarin which is very good for healing the gut. I used to have these until i had to keep moving house, You could also look into balancing your ph levels and drinking a high ph level water id you can find one. Good luck and hugs > > Just putting some things together here Tug. I second the previous post about mineral supps or tri-salts to make up for what you lose in the sauna.
