Guest guest
My friend who i advised had fluid on the brain a few days ago has not responded to steroids or antibiotics and is now being transferred to Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge. I have health problems myself but keep in contact with her family about her.. Her mum wouldn't tell me tonight what they think is wrong with her, although we have been friends since schooldays. This has upset me a lot, Graham my partner is really cross as he said I get too involved with people. I went to see an old lady yesterday who I have been visiting for several years as a befriender and she is not at all well either. I have lost both my parents now too. What do you think can cause fluid on the brain and what can be done for her? I have a preop assessment for a gallbladder operation next week, I do have breathing problems so this may be a problem. I don't like thinking about my problems, have always tried to help people worse off, I have been very upset tonight about my friend, and not knowing what is happening, she won't even tell me herself! I look forward to your comments. Liz
