Anemia and gall bladder problems

Hello,

I have done 4 gall bladder cleanses, of which my last was the most successful.

I am needing to do another cleanse, but I have a problem with iron deficiency

anemia. The last lab test I had showed a hemoglobin number of 11.2 and ferritin

of 6.6. I am sure it has gone down from that.

I have a problem taking iron supplements because of my digestive issues--each

thing I take causes abdominal discomfort or pain. I have tried normal iron

supplements, Geritol, Herbal Iron (Dr. ), and Floradix. My naturopath

had me taking the homeopathic remedy Ferrum Phos, which I can take, but it is

not working or not working fast enough. I have recently tried blackstrap

molasses, but I have been off all sugar for a year, so I am having trouble

taking it. To be honest, I have oriented my meals around what is good for my

gall bladder rather than the anemia, so I know I could work harder on foods, but

it is difficult because I am limited in what I can eat. I take wheatgrass

everyday, which has chlorophyll in it, and I also take Herbal Calcium (Dr.

)which has nettle and oatstraw in it and are good herbs for iron. I

take Dr. 's Liver Gallbladder formula.

I have been having less and less energy, and I am now to the point where I don't

know if I have enough energy to do another cleanse.

Do any of you have suggestions on what I can do? I am almost ready to throw in

the towel, so to speak, and contact my medical doctor, which would almost

certainly lead to surgery.
