Guest guest
There's nothing specific described for the lung in her books (that I know of). I think you miss the point of the kidney and liver cleanse. The digestive system is a very important part of your health. Clean it out (by ridding of parasites and other toxins), and your health has a better chance of being restored....regardless of the specific condition you are encountering. Guest guest
I have heard that taking cayenne in capsule form as well as lobelia will cleanse the lungs. Eileen Re: Fwd: Cleanses >Hello: >I am new to the list and to Dr. 's methods and I think this is a good >question.....I do not know the answer, but would be interested in any >replies given. > >Kathy Neff > > Fwd: Cleanses > > >> >> >> ---------------------------
Guest guest
In researching this in the book " Prescription for Nutritional Healing " by Dr. F. Balch and Phyllis A. Balch, C.N.C., it is true that cayenne is shown to be good for the lungs, but the book notes that cayenne is used with lobelia for nerves. Also noted, there's a caution that lobelia is good used on a limited basis for treatment of asthma, bronchitis, colds and flu ... but it should not be taken internally on an ongoing basis because it has nicotine like effects on the body, and taking more than 50 mg. of dried lobelia can suppress breathing, depress blood pressure, and even lead to coma. Think about this when considering this combination. Rae
Guest guest
I believe in that ... I've heard milk thistle is a highly efffective liver detoxifier .. any thoughts on this? Rae
Guest guest
Oh YES! I am taking it as we speak. My alternative doc told me that my CFS will be greatly improved if I focus on my liver. Detoxing it, rebuilding it's health and maintaining through herbs and nutrition. Milk Thistle is on the top of our list for this. To back up what he said, I have had liver problems since contracting CFS, and I personally feel that the CF virus is centered here and likes to attack this organ.I feel if I can help my liver, I will be on the road to a normal life. I must say that cleanses are not comfortable, and many stop just when the getting is good due to this. Before you do a cleanse, keep this in mind, and if you feel a little sick, especially at the start,it means it is working. It's the darkness before the day, the storm before the calm. Eileen Yes, this is per Dr Schulze´s advice. As soon as there is cayenne as part of a recipe, one knows that it comes from him. :-) Even the eyewash I use contains cayenne... Those who want to learn more about Dr Schulze´s recipes, can go to www.healthfree.com/schulze or www.botanicals.net Best regards, Ulf ulftage@... Guest guest
One step further then ... on the milk thistle .. what's the best dosage/regimen to get rid of liver gunk? I'm feeling very toxic lately ... but I would rather I know the right way to do this .. my glands in my neck tingle all the time and feel swollen ... causing me to panic ... my abdomen is distended ... my right side feeling like there's a kink in my intestine .... lordy ... Guest guest
Yes, it is. More scientifically studied than most things we talk about on this list. But, I don't think you can detoxify a liver without ridding it of parasites (if they are there). Dr. At 10:58 AM 01/09/2000 EST, you wrote: >From: RaeDreams@... > >I believe in that ... Guest guest
I personally have tried many fasts and cleanses. Arise and Shine seems to be one of the best programs available, though difficult to follow. I have gotten mucoid matter out, needing the colema board to do so. Also, is anyone testing there ph level as suggested? If the body is to acid it will not detox very well, and one can have reactions no matter what. I have also found aloe vera juice to be very helpful in cleansing. The very first natural path I went to put me on a 3 day fast, I did not cleanse properly and am still trying to correct the damage 8 years later. So it seems wise to be careful, and educate oneself really well before fasting. Also, I do better if I cleanse in the right time of year, spring or fall, my body feels like it really wants to then, in the winter I try to stay warm, and eat healthy warm, filling meals.. I personally find a great need to replenish and build after cleansing, its vital to do so, the immune system will become to weak if no down time and building accurs. Protien drinks, vege broths, nourishing foods. Myself personally find liver cleansing to be of great benefit to, the liver is so directly linked to the bowel, and immune system. A & S liver products seem to work very well, the better my liver is the better my bowels cleanse. My greatest success has always been with gbladder flushes, s program really does work, I've gotten thousands out, my body is the better for them thats for sure. Three days of fasting can not do that much damage to your body...unless maybe the water had some kind of dangerous contamination. > So it seems wise to be careful, and educate oneself really well before fasting. Always a good idea.
Guest guest
Hi Bonnie, Yes, Bonnie I'll be praying for you. You read my mind. I was thinking yesterday about those of you who are starting the cleanse, because I wanted to pray for all of you. It would be hard for me to do a 7 day fast cleanse like that and I would want you praying for me if I were doing it. So if you want me to pray for you during your cleanse let me know. Guest guest
Well, hot dry is what Sauna's are. Can you turn the heater up in the bathroom (small confined less expensive and inconvenient to the rest of the household) 'till you sweat profusely? Perhaps drink some ginger tea or take a bath with ginger tea in it would also help with it. I don't know where you are, but many YM/WCA's have sauna's you can use. The fee is generally for some other part of their health club offering but they're most reasonable. SaraLou I was told to take a sauna, but can't find one! Ican't believe they didn't tell me this until I was getting ready to walk outthe door at 5pm!! They said I'll really suffer if I don't do it! Guest guest
Does anyone have ideas for an easy kidney cleanse? I don't think I have it in me to buy the herbs in bulk and steep them, etc. Is there anything simpler I could do? Also, how critical is it that I do a kidney cleanse before a liver cleanse? Finally, I got an ultraviolet blood irradiation treatment today (kills germs and oxyzenates the blood) that is supposed to cause a lot of die off. What can I do to minimize this. Guest guest
, Crack open a watermelon and go to town on it. Or you can juice it. Watermelon makes a great kidney cleanse and as a bonus you will get a nice healthy dose of glutathione to boot! Dennis Jay wrote: > > Does anyone have ideas for an easy kidney cleanse? Guest guest
On this note, many hotels offer saunas in their spas too. Possibly they would let you pay for just the sauna. Guest guest
Bernadette, I am interested in how you cleansed. I cannot take psyllium (allergic) and that seems to be the only way people have cleansed. I take Hormozon, but haven't noticed anything (except its price). Been taking up to 2 teaspoons a day. Desparately need to get that impacted stuff out, know I have it, have been constipated for many, many years. Have done 3 fasts now, and I feel great when I don't eat, but tired and have to eat again sometime. I also take Bentonite occasionally, but have not seen any results from that as well. Any suggestions?] Thanks, Matty --- abrs@... wrote: > Patty, I have cleansed many times. Lost big thick > black ropes of tar from my > system. Yet never saw a worm until I started > Homozon. Guest guest
Hi Matty, I am looking in my book, "Own Your Own Body" by Dr. Malstrom to see what he recommends for this. He says that people should take an herbal laxative and take as many enemas as you can stand. The ingredients he lists in the herbal laxative are for children: senna, fennel, rhubarb. He says it is a mild laxative for adults. He sells a product that is already prepared called Formula #23 Child Lax. For adults he suggests: barberry, cascara sagrada, licorice, senna, raspberry, lobelia, and cayenne. His product is Formula #61 T-LB which means it should be a tincture since it is a T product. He says to take 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon doses, decreas dosages for children. Hope this helps, ~Karma<(©¿©)> http://loaves-n-fishes.com Re: parasites & back pain> > > >> > > Patty: same thing happened to my husband.> > > The tincture worked very well. Guest guest
When I fast I have to cleanse. My colon will not move otherwise. I have cleansed using the Arise & Shine products, which uses psylium. I have used Aim's Herbal Fiberblend with Bentonite, along with Arise & Shine. I have used the Lemonade fast, and highly recommend this fast if you feel weak when you fast. This is not a cleanse though. At least not for me. I too am highly constipated. How long have you been on Homozon? Can you increase your dose and spread them out through the day? I got my worms out the day I took digestive enzymes, Homozon and had been eating sprouts during the day and a healthy supper at night. I do not consider myself on a cleanse right now. My worms came out through normal living with Homozon. I wish I was more of an expert. But I too am experimenting. Bernadette

Guest guest
I was desparate to clean my liver because my chronic fatigue and food allergies were so bad. According to the book, you should wait 2 weeks between liver flushes. I did the kidney cleanse concurrently, I just skipped the kidney herbs the day of and the day after the flush. That seemed to work fine, and I was able to continue cleaning my liver. Cleanses Hi,My question today is how long should a person wait inbetween cleanses?Last night I decided to do the liver cleanse because I impatient forgetting the kidney cleanse herbs and then waiting for another 6 weeks.Well I had success with the liver cleanse with about 100 stones.
