Guest guest
Hi , (nice name ) I think if you do a cleanse, do an intestinal cleanse first, then do the kidney and liver cleanse/detox. I have done all three. I drink a (detox) tea each morning too, and try to take an herbal liver tonic (tincure) most days. I feel it helps my liver, and since I take meds, drink alcohol, ingest some pesticides that are on foods, (can't be avoided completely) etc, I feel I need to help the ol liver some. The liver has more functions (I think) than any organ, and when it is not filtering our system well, (everything gets filtered thru our liver,) all of the other supporting organs have to work harder to do their job, (kidneys, colon, gallbladder, pancreas, etc.) I'm sure alot of people don't believe in cleanses/detoxes. It's an individual thing. Take care,
Guest guest
HI !! I love your name!! :-) I was wondering? What is the name of the Detox tea you drink and where do you buy it?? I think that helping along the liver is a very good thing to do especially with a thyroid problem! Thanks in advance!! Debbie
Guest guest
> > > > Ann- > Where does one go to do a cleanse, such as colon? I live in Chicago. Thanks. > N- Well, I just did my cleanse at home. If you want to do a colon cleanse there are plenty out there. The ones that I have used are Dr. Schulze's http://www.curezone.com/schulze/herbal_colon_cleanse_1_2.asp. You can simply take them as directed and go about your normal business. Just be prepared to have to use the bathroom frequently for a couple of weeks! I've never done it but my husband once went and got a high colonic which I'm sure you could get any number of places in Chicago. They're supposed to be great for cleaning out the colon. He had a hard detox for a few days afterwards, though. Ann

Guest guest
Hi Steph I would start with a kidney cleanse and a colon cleanse, then eventually start flushing them stones outta your liver. Have you tried cranberry juice for your bladder? The herbs for the kidney cleanse that I do are listed here.... http://www.presentmoment.com/ I normally buy my herbs in bulk here.... http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/ As far as cleaning your colon, see if you can find a good colon hydrotherapist in your area. If that's not an option for you, then look into gettng or making your own colema board. I made mine and it's not hard to make.I'd be happy to give you the directions if you're interested. There are a lot of experienced flushers in the liver flush forum on curezone. I've tried Hulda 's flush and now do the s Moritz flush with a few of my own variations. Read and ask questions. Go with what you feel comfortable with. > I need to do some cleansing. I went to curezone but got extremely overwhelmed. I am looking for simple, straightforward suggestions. My vaginal candida is not going away and I think parasites from when I was living in Central America could be the problem or just that my colon etc. is causing the problem. In what order should I do cleanses - liver, kidney, colon? Of note I know I have always had candida to a certain degree but it got very bad while living in Central America two years ago. At one point I know I must have been invaded by parasites as I spent two weeks in bed sicker than I have ever been in my life. My kidneys were so infected? that I could not even roll over in bed for days. I am really thinking that those two weeks may be what is preventing my vaginal candida from improving even though I am eating and taking supplements, suppositories, etc. > > Any suggestions or opinions on whether you think I am on the right track regarding parasites causing my chronic vaginal candida? > > Suggestions re: cleanses? > > Thanks so much, > > Steph > > >
Guest guest
Thanks for your suggestions. I read some more about Hulda 's cleanses and decided to start with the parasite cleanse and then follow through with the remainder of the cleanses. What is a colema board? I am very nervous to try hydrotherapy but I know it is very beneficial. Thanks, Steph slickrick605 <slickrick605@...> wrote: Hi Steph I would start with a kidney cleanse and a colon cleanse, then eventually start flushing them stones outta your liver. Guest guest
This link has a colema board video....... http://www.amenhealth.com/ Most colemas use 5 gallons of water. I believe a colonic uses 20 to 25 gallons. I've gotten sick using antiparasitics so if you feel any adverse reactions to the ones you use, back off or stop them. I've used ia, and several others. I've gotten thousand of parasites(and candida) out just doing the liver flushes and colon cleansing. Rick > Thanks for your suggestions. Guest guest
I'm glad this topic came up; I was going to post on it soon anyway. I've never done a cleanse and have felt for a while now that I probably need one. DS is 15 months and is weaning so I'm starting to do some researching on cleansing. Although my diet is markedly better than before my 1st pregnancy 4 years ago, I'm 40 pounds heavier than then & about 50 pounds over my ideal. In addition to the obvious reason for cleansing, I hope to use it as a clear break from some of the bad habits that linger. (I know I won't break bad eating habits that quickly, but simply " trying to eat better " hasn't helped either.) Anyway, where would be a good source of info on safe cleanses? I'm thinking about a week long one?? Thanks Dawn --- Will Winter <holistic@...> wrote: When undertaking > a cleansing, one traditionally eats a high fiber, > low fat, low protein diet, along with lots of > liquids, fiber, and other cleansing materials. > > I've done long cleansings and short ones, I've done > harsh ones and easy ones. Guest guest
Dawn, I did my first liver cleanse ever in the Spring on the advice of a naturopath. I used the Ultraclear program that he recommended and did only days 7-13 (the actual cleanse part). I eat well enough that I didn't have to do the initial withdrawal part or the phasing things back in part. I think I am supposed to do it 3 or 4 times a year. I may be doing it again this Fall once the kids go back to school. If you want to do it together, let me know. Good Luck! Kathy
Guest guest
Kathy, I'm certainly interested in joining you. I'm not aware of any naturopaths in Eau . With that program are there supplements to buy etc? Unfortuntely, my diet is poor enough that I'd need to do the whole cleanse I would guess. But we could still buddy up. Any more info would be great. Thanks! Dawn --- realfoodie2003 <realfoodie2003@...> wrote: > Dawn, > > I did my first liver cleanse ever in the Spring on > the advice of a naturopath. Guest guest
Made an accidental discovery the other day that if you eat LOTS of thick split pea soup (with onions and carrots for taste) and eat lots of cold coconut oil and water melon in between the pea soup servings, you will clean out quite well painlessly LOL. However, you do risk messing your drawers. Steph

Guest guest
this suggestion is bizarre, rather esoteric as well. > > From: ectopisteswebtv (DOT) net <ectopisteswebtv (DOT) net> > Subject: CLEANSES > gallstones@gro ups.com > Date: Saturday, June 6, 2009, 4:57 AM > > Made an accidental discovery the other day that if you eat LOTS of > thick > > split pea soup (with onions and carrots for taste) and eat lots of > cold > > coconut oil and water melon in between the pea soup servings, you will > > clean out quite well painlessly LOL.
