Guest guest
Trimming replies to posts benefits the whole group and makes messages easy to read. If not done, messages are VERY difficult to read especially for Digest readers. 1) HOW TO TRIM MESSAGES When you reply to posts, please remove any part of the original post and extraneous text before sending. You do not need to include an entire post to respond to it! Include just enough to give context to your response. If you are not doing this, a busy moderator is having to take time to do it for you. Cropping messages is very simple. When you hit " reply " in your email, the original post you are responding to will show in your email text box. Right-click and highlight what you don't need and click " delete. " To forget to trim or worse, to copy back an entire digest makes the next digest practically unreadable.
