Sulphur is the reason why hair curls in the first place... so when you wash

hair in epsom salts, you can expect more frizzy/curly hair.

They will absorb the epsom salts through their scalp which is not a bad

thing at all...

I don't know that it feels less clean -- ours feels just as clean.

I have slightly curly hair but after an epsom salt bath in which I dunked my

hair -- I have big tight curls... a benefit as far as I'm concerned !

We use it to help clear the detox pathways (phenols) and it also is a

transdermal way to get magnesium in them. Helps most of the kids sleep better

too. Magnesium usually is calming.

epsom salts

can I ask what people use epsom salts in the bath to treat? I have seen

it mentioned on lists that people give of the stuff they use for their

children.

thanks!

My doctor, Dr Rossignol, said as last visit he would not advise Epsom salt baths

period. Most of the Epsom salts in this country comes from China and is ladened

with heavy meats. Yes, I know, I had been using it too. He said to stick with

the cream, much better, more efficient and SAFE. Amalgams have no effect on the

use of mag sulf. cream.

We only use Brand as I've heard that other kinds can be

contaminated. I don't know that this is true, it's something that has

come up on some of the lists. Low quality epsom salts are said to be

contaminated with mercury or other metals, but I have no idea where

that info came from, so take it or leave it. I personally wouldn't be

surprised since so many things do seem to be contaminated these days.

I dump in about 1 cup per person per bath (my kids bathe together),

but it varies.

Best to buy them from a pharmacy. Others can contain mercury and

other bad stuff.

+++Hi Sylvia. Why do you want to flush your bowels? Are you constipated?

Epsom salts has been taken by mouth or in an enema, but I do not recommend it.

It contains magnesium so it acts like a laxative, which will throw calcium out

of balance and also other minerals. There are many other dangers as well -

Google epsom salt+danger.

To helps your bowels move, ensure you are following these recommendations for

Improving Digestion:

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro2.php#s27

Also if you changed over to this diet too quickly, without getting your good

fats up high enough it can cause constipation.

Also if you've been constipated in the past your body will " retrace " each and

every episode during the healing processes:

Here's some constipation treatments which may help and I think taking vitamin C

is the best:

I've done probably 5 or so gall bladder flushes now, and I'm sick to death of

epsom salts. Once they literally made me sick to what felt like the point of

death.

I've been reading on curezone the reviews (positive and negative) given by

people on the flush with special reference to epsom salts, and I find a LOT of

people having trouble with them, sometimes what sounds like quite serious

trouble.

In addition, I've read about a lot of people doing the flush either with greatly

reduced quantities of salt (one guy mentioned that Hulda's cleanse exceeds the

maximum safe amount given on the boxes by 4x) or without it altogether and still

flushing out their liver/gallbladder and feeling better.

As I understand it, the purpose of the epsom salt is to expand the bile ducts to

allow " large " stones easier passage, but since I've pretty conclusively

demonstrated that I have no such thing, I do not see any point in abusing myself

with epsom salt any longer.

It is the oil that causes the flush to occur, and therefore all that would seem

necessary would be any kind of laxative the next morning to clear out the bowel.

A standard salt cleanse would seem appropriate.

In any case, unless I see some compelling reason to continue ingesting the

whopping 1/4 cup of pure salt per clease, I plan to cease and desist and simply

practice the cleanse with a juice fast, oil, and simple salt cleanse the next

morning.

I have done many GB flushes in the years past and sometimes I would use

Prune juice and it worked very well for me.

I also would put half a lemon in the Epsom salt to help it go down

easier. The lemon is good too to use for this. Give it a try and make

it taste better.

> If the magnesium and sulphate from epsom salts is truly absorbed through skin

in bath or spraying skin after with it, (which I'm trying both) I'm wondering if

increased sulphate (sulphur) helps with killing off candida? Isn't it sulphur

type foods that help to kill candida? Just wondering how it benefits, thanks.

I found from reading that there haven't been too many studies done showing the

absorption of this through the skin, but it's generally believed to somehow be

absorbed through our skin.

+++Hi Tina,

Candida cannot be cured by " killing it off " or by " trying to get rid of it. " It

just doesn't work that way. Candida can only cured by getting healthy, which is

done by:

1) Consuming " proper nutrients " (Bee's diet plus supplements which provides all

of the nutrients any Human needs in order to be healthy).

2) Eliminating toxins and foods that feed candida (they also feed bacteria and

cancer).

3) Eliminating damaging foods.

4) Eliminating toxins in general.

When you are healthy enough your body automatically " changes " candida (or any

bug, cancer, etc.) back into the organism it is supposed to be when the body is

healthy.

It's like the manure pile and the flies, with the manure pile representing the

poor condition of the body. You cannot get rid of the manure pile by killing

off the flies. You must clean up the manure pile instead, which means getting

healthy according to Nature's Laws on Health.

However, sulphur is one of the most important minerals your body needs, and it

is extremely important for detoxification. There's plenty of sulphur on this

diet, mainly in eggs, garlic and the onion family. But don't go overboard

otherwise you'll get more detoxification symptoms.

To introduce a food high in sulphur start with small amounts, i.e. 1 teaspoon or

less of egg yolk 3 times a day with complete meals, and very slowly increase it,

every 5 days or longer, so your detox symptoms are more tolerable.

All the best, Bee

Hi Bee,

I have started your 9 day program. Yesterday I had broth all day. Today I

started with the pureed foods. Only the foods you have on the food list.

However, I did have summer squash, zucchini, and small amount of spinach, all

pureed.

My symptoms of painful gas, cramps, and bowel have not changed in the least bit.

I plan on continuing with the plan, but am discouraged. I have been eating this

way with meats, fats, and oils for months. The veggies are only green beans, the

squash. Occasionally broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts because I have a

mild sensitivity to them so have them every few weeks. I am at a LOSS and

DEPRESSED.

Regards

Elaine
