Guest guest
Hello, I am new member here planning to do a flush asap since my gallstone attacks are occurring about 2 times a week lasting about 2 days long (not so bad I can't do normal activities). I had thought my pains were due to acid related problems until recently, when I did not respond to PPI treatment, and my ultrasound showed gallstones. My doctors are recommending surgery, and I hope to try the flushes with diet changes to see how I respond first. I am doing my best to learn as much as possible from this group and thank everyone for their wealth of information that I am gleaning from the archives. Regarding my diet, I have cut out all meats including beef, pork, chicken, all sweets including chocolate, all dairy, eggs, and nuts. I am eating fruits, veggies, white rice and other grains, and getting my protein from soy based products like tofu and fish like salmon and . I started this new diet just last Saturday, was pain free Sunday through Tuesday, and got dismayed when I started experiencing pain again on Wednesday. My questions, regarding a diet to ward off new attacks: * Was it too premature to expect to ward off new attacks in such a short time frame? * Can I expect to ward off new attacks through diet alone? * Should I cut off soy? Moritz's book lists beans as a possible attack trigger, but I want to make sure. * Should I cut off fish? If so, just those with saturated fat like salmon or also those with out like petra sole? * Should I cut off rice and/or other grains (oatmeal, buckwheat, quinoa)? I've read about fruit and veggie only diet to start cleansing, and I will do it if it really is the way to ward off new attacks - I would just need a better understanding of why not soy, fish, and grains. Guest guest
I eat some meats and don't have any problems. Only fermented soy is ok - tofu. Be careful with the salmon due to the mercury (non-GB related). I don't have any trouble with quinoa or buckwheat. I DO have trouble with avacodos. Just my experiences... Guest guest
Since my last attack I am on the diet and didn't have attacks so far. I am having pain in the gallbladder area, but not too bad, like I am feeling this spot. Yesterday I started to feel pain the same kind I had during attack, I took epsom salt (1 tea spoon in a glass of water) and put castor oil hot pack and pain went away. Other than that I didn't have problems so far. I am eating oatmeal in the morning, salad (with avocado, so far no problem) with the olive oil for lunch, sometimes fish, once in a blue moon chicken and turkey, fruits, grains, sometimes rice and beans, try to make juce (apples, carrots, kiwi, grapefruit and acai berries) every day and take a lot of herbs and supplements. I try to eat small portions more often instead of having big meal. I had 3 colonics already. I want to start doing flashes, but I am in the process to move to another state, so I will probably will do it after I move. I think you should try and see what food is better for you. Try to take organic, raw apple cider vinegarevery day (2 table spoons with glass of water), read curezone. com about all the herbs and supplements, do parasite cleanse before the flash, exercise.   Good luck. ________________________________ From: fanbaiweisheng <fanbaiweisheng@...> gallstones Sent: Fri, February 26, 2010 5:07:56 AM Subject: Intro and Q's re Diet: fish, soy, grains  Hello, I am new member here planning to do a flush asap since my gallstone attacks are occurring about 2 times a week lasting about 2 days long (not so bad I can't do normal activities).
