Guest guest
You ask these 'doctors' to discuss Gallbladder, and they all usually want to remove it. Now they can use your money to buy a new car, add a wing on their house, etc... You should try losing some weight maybe, exercising, eating well, try burping now and then, and drink plenty of water. I would never have removed my GB... Keep the info coming. Guest guest
Read the s Moritz book if you can. Enzymes should always be taken after g.b. removal, too. Good luck to you, herbladie   You ask these 'doctors' to discuss Gallbladder, and they all usually want to remove it. Now they can use your money to buy a new car, add a wing on their house, etc... Guest guest
Dear Mr. Sunnyweather, It sounds like surgeon #3 acted inappropriately and I would be extremely upset that he removed my GB after 2 other surgeons would not. As you are experiencing the same pain as before the GB was removed - I would demand to know what was the basis for surgeon # 3 to proceed with the surgery after the first 2 surgeons did not think it was you GB! This is a very serious thing that #3 did - I would demand to know what caused him to override the other 2 surgeons especially now that you are experiencing identical symptoms. Sounds to me like you have a very good case for a law suit- although I dislike the idea of litigating, the facts as you state them warrant a close look at litigation if for no other reason than to stop this surgeon from performing unnecessary surgeries on others. Again, if the facts are as you stated them then this doctor is incompetent and you should consider taking some sort of action to demonstrate to him that there are consequences to moving forward without being sure of what the problem is. As for your current problem- have you seen any other doctors? suggest an alternative health care specialist. What part of the country are you in? How are your bowel movements? digestion? how long does the pain last? is it a sharp pain? does it come in waves? when it starts how long does it last? does it incapacitate you? does it come on after you eat? do you have a lot of gas after you eat. - more info you can provide the better good luck On Jan 14, 2011, at 8:16 PM, sunnyweather1983 wrote: > Hi everyone, my name is and I'm 27 years old. Guest guest
, None of your original symptoms sound like gall bladder to me, but I don't know what the rest of the group would say. Three things jumped out out me...drinking, poor diet and the indigestion. All of these things I've had. The pain that you describe in chest and throat could be from weeks, or months of irritation of the stomach and esophagus. Diet is absolutely key to recovery and it sounds like you could do with some fasting. Stop eating for a few days and drink only water with a little fresh lemon squeezed in it and see if your symptoms improve. You need to stay away from all the things you know are bad, fast food, smoking, drinking. If the fasting helps, you will know your problem has to do with what's going in your mouth. In the meantime, I would make sure you don't have some complication from the surgery. Have you been in communication with your surgeon and shared this information with him or her? Also in the meantime, research healthy diets on the internet. There are cheap ways to eat well. Oh, and be absolutely sure to stay away from sugar and soda, processed foods, junk food, etc. Soda never fails to give me indigestion...and I mean NEVER. Good luck --- In gallstones , " sunnyweather1983 " <sunnyweather1983@...> wrote: > > Hi everyone, my name is and I'm 27 years old. Guest guest
Thank you. Do you know anything else I should suspect that might be giving me this pain? It's a weird kind of pain but it's excruciating. It is there under the ribcage on the right side and now severely my back is killing me and also why does it reflect to the chest? I had chest x-rays, blood work, pancreas test, lyme d. test and they are good. I am thinking of ulcers or crohns. Last year I had blood work for hemacromatosis and was informed i have a gene that might summon it. What do you think??? > > It is usually happen after GB removal - Bike reflux. Guest guest
Thank you. You know before the surgery I was in so much agony because of the pain in the chest and feeling in throat. The pain in the back was not allowing me to live and I was crying. no doctor pushed me into anything. Really they didn't want to do it but I was sure that there was no other way to live and I begged them with tears in my eyes. Please believe me that the last surgeon is an angel. I had it removed 14 days ago now and the pain hasn't changed except I don't have any of those terrible attacks that mimic a heart attack. I had those and earlier had no idea what it was. It hurts me 24/7 under the rib there, in my chest, throat, and back. What do you think? Can it be an ulcer of some sort or maybe what? I reaearched but... > > From: IMS <imsinfo@...> > Subject: Re: GALLBLADDER - Severe pain before and after removal. Guest guest
Hello sir. Thank you for what you are saying and for the concern. I know that if we all put our minds together we can make me live again. I didn't write clearly so I will clarify now. Five months of this pain and frequent E.R. visits were exhausting. Especially when everybody was telling me quote: " you need it out " . The E.R. doctors said this and that. The surgeons said other. Friends said even different. It was all up to me and to what I was feeling. I had no other option but to hope for the best. The woman surgeon 3rd saw the tears in my eyes and agreed to my wish. I did have the gallbladder attacks mimicking heart attacks and now I don't. I must've had more than one problem and the gallbladder might've just been the little one. It might be that I waited to long for the surgery and now my body can't forget how it is not to have pain. I know how it sounds... It is so hard to find out what is wrong with me without insurance and refferals to free health clinics miles and miles away in different cities. Some of these Dr's. think I'm crazy but I'm not. I live in Virginia Beach, Va. My bowel movements are good. I think digestion too but like I said something about the throat and esophagus is not right. I do have a slight weird taste too but not as acidy as heartburn. Sir the pain is so bad!!! It lasts all the time under the rib, in the chest and back, headache, tiredness. It hurts worse when I'm hungry but hurts also after I eat. I don't eat no crap anymore I've studied a perfect diet. The last thing is that I can't do anything but pray and hope that either the G.I. on tuesday might come up with something or that a miracle can happen and tomorrow it will go away on it's own. I am incapacitated. I am disabled... > > > Hi everyone, my name is and I'm 27 years old. Guest guest
You may have a serious case of heartburn. This can be triggered by H Pylori infection in the stomach. These bugs actually drill into the mucosal lining of the stomach and secrete and alkaline solution, the body eventually recognizes that there is too much alkalinity in the stomach and begins secreting more stomach acid. Hence the acid up the esophagus. However some people also have heartburn due to LOW stomach acid. I would do a trial of Manuka honey first. If you get any relief from your symptoms then it is caused by H Pylori. Manuka is way more powerful in terms of antibacterial properties compared to other honeys. I cured my chronic heartburn with Manuka and I also cured the H Pylori infection at the same time. If there is no change I would look into low stomach acid. Here is a website talking about heartburn being treated with Manuka: http://www.manukahoneyusa.com/h-pylori.htm > > > > , > > None of your original symptoms sound like gall bladder to me, but I don't know what the rest of the group would say. Guest guest
If you want to know all possible reasons for pain go to Wrongdiagnosis.com and list your symptoms. After that you can choose some reasons you think more appropriate. Right side pain is from Gb usually but pain in the chest from reflux and it radiates everywhere. Did you try antacids like Maalox? You can take also Liquid Calcium or even over the counter PPI meds. Adsk pharmacy and take to see if it help. If helps it is GERD or reflux for sure. > > > > It is usually happen after GB removal - Bike reflux.
