Guest guest
It was so painful if it were not for my herbs I think I might have had to go to the ER. I'm not quite sure what I took at the time but fennel comes to mind. I have the tincture but you could probably even chew the seeds. That will relieve any gas trapped et. I've done the cleanse in the past but quit when I read how they could make stones get trapped in the duct and cause serious problems. Also, that most of what people are gallstones are really just the cholesterol mixed with the cleanse stuff, not stones at all. .. I was thinking that too. What did you do? .. I had been thinking I might do a gallbladder cleanse again. I normally do it right after the holidays after I've eaten junk food. Last time was in January, I didn't get much from the last one.. My mom had bad gallbladder problems, she just had hers taken out a couple years ago, she was 68 at then. I told her to try cleanse first but she was in too much pain and went to the doctor instead. I have done the cleanse with lemon juice olive oil and epsom salt. Does anyone know anything better, or anything else to consider? Too much fat or oil from nuts and oils could cause a problem if so. (It's happened to me) Just a thought, Louise I have used them, only one at night, and regular probiotic in the mornings, but ran out, and have not used them in a few months, but thought they were good and seemed to have less bloating, and help with regularity. (which I seem to have when I eat much coconut oil. Along with weight gain. Also there's been times I wake up in the night feeling nauseated, which is a new thing for me.) I read on earth clinic that many people had problems with the coconut oil too. Do you all know if it's something that goes away after a while? The blood type diet says it's not good for blood type A. But I don't know that they tested raw extra virgin coconut oil back when they did the test?) When I stopped eating coconut oil and the almond butter I lost the 5 lbs that I gained and started using it again, but much less of it and I seemed okay for a while, but I over done it again and gained the 5 lbs back. Could be that I can't have it with almond butter, daily I eat almonds or walnuts, and that with my krill oil in the mornings, and fish oil in the evenings, and if I have salad my dressing is made with lemon and flax oil or olive oil. Maybe I'm getting way too much fat. That's what comes to mind when wake up in the night feeling almost sick to my stomach. I don't eat sugar, or flour products except rawer occasion, if I eat bread it's once a week, Ezekiel bread. I eat meat sometimes, but not much, I like fish better. And love my fruit and vegies. I do eat organic yogurt and cheese. Mostly sheep cheese. and protein powder after my workout; Whey or pea. If anyone knows what protein powder company is best to buy I'd like to know that too. Sorry for the side trip here, but if anyone has anything to say about this I'm listening. Some people don't think 5lbs is a big deal, but for me it is a matter of fitting my pants. And I'm not buying bigger clothes. I know I have to discipline myself better with the coconut oil mixed with almond butter, and make time to eat right when I'm busy so I don't overdo it on all the fat with its high calories. I'm preaching to myself. Thanks for any wisdom sent my way. Anyway I thought I'd try these probiotics again. I just bought more and started them this time I'm taking one at night and in the morning, this time. Here's a link where you can get them the best price I've found. http://www.probiotics12plus.com/discountCapsules.htm 2 boxes of 120 cap. $63.00 and free shipping. Guest guest
I think I will do herbs too, because I don't know that I have stones??? But I have had my right side kind of hurt too, and feel as though I could throw up. Not often though. 2 years ago was the last time I had blood work " for life insurance " , was first thing in the morning after fasting all night, cholesterol was low 125, HDL 58, LDL 57, Trigs 48. I may try to get in with this doctor who is also a natural path. (Who wasn't taken new patients, but maybe???) I haven't been to a doctor in many years, last one was 4 years ago, a natural path and after almost 8 years, finally went to gynecologist, who did blood work for hormones only to tell me what I knew, progesterone is low and testosterone too. And I need progesterone cream. I already use. I read that hormones can affect the gallbladder too. Guest guest
It seems that no caprylic or capric acid will be found in bile because these fatty acids are entirely absorbed in the intestine and sent directly to the tissues (rather than being jettisoned into the bile by the liver as waste). Although Bruce's book Coconut Cures says that the Mayo Clinic and the University of Wisconsin Hospital are witnesses, a search has not uncovered suportive data. I'd like to see what the pertinent reference was on page 59 of Coconut Cures if anyone has it. Meanwhile, in a study that gave MCT/LCT oil to humans, " The fatty acid composition of biliary phospholipids was not affected by either lipid infusion....In contrast to patients with cholelithiasis, no effects could be demonstrated on gallbladder bile composition, cholesterol saturation index, nucleation time, or fatty acid composition of phospholipids....Our results indicate that lipid emulsions containing MCT/LCT induce lithogenic changes in the composition of human bile. " http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9007178 The lithogenic change is not attributable to capric or caprylic acid dissolving gallstones. all good, Duncan > Coconut oil in your diet is a safe and efficient method of addressing > gallstones. The monoglycerides and diglycerides of caprylic acid and capric > acid have been found to dissolve human gallstones.>
