Hope you are OK

I went to a pain clinic at Stanmore today and was very impressed, had a thorough

examination of my back and am now going for an MRI scan before starting some

sort of pain management programme as I do take quite a few painkillers for back

pain.

Stanmore is about 2 hours from me and an hour from Graham my partner, he took me

today.  I was told by the Dr that I can be transferred to my local hospital

about 20 miles away.

I was upset by my partner as he said that he's got to go between me and his

parents.  I do all I can to make it easier for him, I don't even mind going on

my own toa  local hospital rather than expect him to come with me!  I sometimes

feel I'm a hindrance to him, I have always put him first even when my parents

are ill, it makes me feel I'm not that important, if needed I would even delay

my treatment, don';t want to cause any problems.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Liz

Dear Liz,

I hope you get the much needed answers and an effective pain management

plan from Stanmore or the nearer doctor. I know you have been suffering

for years and you truly deserve a break and a life without constant pain.

Please put yourself first and try not to allow others around you to get

you down. Sending you strength and positive vibes for your upcoming appt.

Please keep us posted.

Sincerely,

HRH
