Guest guest
Ken, Here's an excerpt I found for it online; The pertinent dosage information is in quotes. It's repeated in the longer post if you want to read it in entirety. Needless to say, I don't use the grapejuice for mixing. I would just down it in water. " This all said, having an ACV tonic every day is a great idea! You can put 2 tsp. (2 cap fulls) into a glass of juice. Grape juice is great! Take a half-hour before meals, three times a day. This will not only aid digestion, but will also cut back your appetite as well. " Apple Cider Vinegar Apple cider vinegar (ACV) is one of the most powerful home remedies in the world. Even doctors and nutritionists acknowledge its effectiveness in treating arthritis, high blood pressure, memory loss, stomach upsets and much, much more. Cure All: ACV may be one of the answers to the high cost of health care today. Prevention is the only thing that will slow those skyrocketing costs, experts say, and ACV is recognized worldwide for its power to block a host of ailments before they can gain a foothold in our systems and do their damage. D.C. Jarvis, M.D. prescribes ACV for healthy digestion, as a treatment for food poisoning, to keep the kidneys and bladder functioning properly, for weight loss, to combat fatigue, and to relieve arthritis by dissolving calcium deposits. Cyril , author of Cider Vinegar, Nature's Great Health Promoter and Safest Treatment for Obestiy, writes: " ACV is conductive to the proper oxidation of the blood. " He adds, " The average reduction of weight from taking ACV is one and a half pounds a week. " ACV helps strengthen the heart, lowers bad cholesterol levels and blood pressure, stabilizes blood sugar, controls the appetite, kills infectious viruses, and contains chemicals that are valuable cancer fighters. WOW! ACV is one of nature's most perfect foods, especially if made from fresh organically grown apples, then allowed to age. ACV: Helps maintain a youthful, vibrant body while slowing the natural aging process. Aids digestion and assimilation. Relieves painful sore throats and laryngitis. Helps sinus, asthma and flu sufferers breathe easier. Controls and stabilizes weight. Ends dandruff and prevents itchy scalp and dry hair. Fights arthritis by flushing harmful toxins and crystals from joints, tissues and organs. Soothes sunburn and maintains healthy skin. This all said, having an ACV tonic every day is a great idea! You can put 2 tsp. (2 cap fulls) into a glass of juice. Grape juice is great! Take a half-hour before meals, three times a day. This will not only aid digestion, but will also cut back your appetite as well. Growing older isn't itself the enemy. The real culprit is the lifestyle most people follow today. Our diets are often poor, consisting mainly of foods that are low in nutritional value and high in toxic chemicals. The best way to prevent the diseases associated with aging is by eating a healthy diet, one filled with foods that are high in potassium. And one of the richest sources of potassium is ACV!! This potassium-rich elixir stimulates a flagging memory and may be of great benefit in helping people who suffer from dementia-type diseases. Ok, just one more thought! Dr. Carrel had heard tales of how ACV seemed to have the benefits of longevity. He was skeptical and wanted to see for himself, so he did an experiment using the cells of a chicken embryo. The normal life expectancy of a chicken is about eight years. By providing the embryo with a full quota of potassium daily and by monitoring its health carefully, Dr. Carrel kept the cells alive and thriving for 30 Years! All right! On to the good stuff: remedies! Contact Home Copyright © Elle 2002 > Who knows how much to take and how often? > Ken

Guest guest
I'm interested in ACV, but my allergist put me on an anti-candida diet, and one of the things he says I should avoid is vinegar. I guess it feeds the candida. The benefits sound great though. <slyan2007@...> wrote: > I did not know you could buy raw ACV. > Make sure the Apple cider vinegar is raw. Guest guest
Make sure you use raw, organic vinegar, never dead, distilled vinegar because the natural enzymes, minerals, and nutrients are destroyed in the distilling process. Any vinegar that is clear and has no " mother " (the strand-like substance in the bottom of the bottle) has no nutritional value. http://www.bragg.com/ > > > > > > > > > > > > > I did not know you could buy raw ACV. > > > > > > > Make sure the Apple cider vinegar is raw. Guest guest
Ok I just want to know when should you take the Apple cider vinegar in relation to VCD. Guest guest
You can take both anytime. For me I take 2 or 3 teaspoons of the Apple Cider Vinegar right after my meals. Some people take 2 tablespoons in the morning and 2 tablespoons in the evening. I take the VCO for weight loss 20 minutes before I eat so you will feel full quickly when you eat and not eat as much. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I did not know you could buy raw ACV. > > > > > > > > > Make sure the Apple cider vinegar is raw. Guest guest
For Candida, coconut oil is suppose to help with that and also cultured foods. Eating fermented or cultured foods contain the good bacteria that keep your vagina and gastrointestinal tract healthy and will replace the Candida. RAW apple cider vinegar is a fermented food. So is sauerkraut or Kim Chi. Kefir is a cultured milk. Eat cultured foods with every meal to aid in digestion. Other good cultured foods are plain organic yogurt and miso. Other dietary considerations include avoidance of all simple sugars, dairy (except if cultured), alcohol, cheeses, dried fruits, melons, peanuts and all suspected food allergens as all these will exacerbate Candida. > > > > I did not know you could buy raw ACV. > > > Make sure the Apple cider vinegar is raw. Guest guest
Although if you are experiencing burning in your stomach the raw apple cider vinegar made the burning worse for me. Drinking Kefir worked better for me or a lacto-fermented beverage like Kvass. > > > > > I did not know you could buy raw ACV. > > > Make sure the Apple cider vinegar is raw.
