Guest guest
Marisol: Could you keep us posted on this treatment? Sounds different..yet interesting. I was just given a bottle of bentonite clay by a friend. I remember hearing about clay baths using bentonite...but this is for oral use. Do you think this will help the metals clear the intestines, etc? I had read about it on one of the all-natural chelation sites. Any thoughts anyone? Guest guest
I don't use Bentonite clay but I do use a product called Histamine (Solaray-sp33) which is a blend of clay and herbs. I obviously can't tell you if it's working (I hope it does). Vicky > >

I had read >about it on one of the all-natural chelation sites. Any thoughts anyone? > Hi , I have used bentonite clay: a. in baths b. in a paste on skin (e.g. on cuts, bites, etc) (usually just water and bentonite; occassionally mixed with echinacea tincture and/or essential oil) (once mixed, the paste stores well) c. internally (both " alone " in water and in some formualas that include bentonite & other stuff). What I've read and heard indicates that it is very " drawing " and thus detoxifying (in any of the forms I just listed). I am not sure if it will pull mercury out of the colon or not (but it would not surprise me if it does). I *do* think that activated charcoal *will* do that (and I've also swallowed lots of THAT). (Let me know if you'd like source to buy some or some references to read regarding charcoal.) By the way, I don't think there is an awful lot of merc in the colon. But it is still a good idea to get it out. Another colon-related issue would be to make sure that stuff is moving through the colon at a reasonable rate (fairly quickly). This is different than the bentonite/charcoal issue. Also by the way, bentonite tends toward being constipating. And you need to drink a LOT of water with it. The book " Foundations of Healing " by Hobbs is one source (I'm sure there are others) that tells how to take bentonite internally. This book is about herbal health care as related to the entire digestive system... Also includes receipes for liver flushes (which Andy is against for merc toxic people), teas for liver, kidneys, etc etc. Moria
