Guest guest
Hey Margie, All the best. While you may not be proud of having the surgery, nor should you berate yourself either. In terms of the bumps in the road we can face, hopefully this will be a small one... So now you experience the rest of your life without a gallbladder. Some experience life without money, love, or a limb... The name of the game now is how best to live it given the limitation (slight) that you now have. Saw a client yesterday who was minus her gallbladder (30 years earlier). She definitely has a fat digestion/assimilation problem. So we put her on bile, and lipase enzymes whenever she consumes fats. The problem shows up by the way, in both metabolic and inflammatory symptoms. I just started to list them and decided otherwise... The most important thing is that the disruption of proper fat digestion (yours was already disrupted before the surgery) has effect way on down the line so we want to optimize your ability. You should be able to take whatever supplements you would like now but the question on exercise (and pregnancy) should be left to your Dr. All pre-gallbladder problems dietary and lifestyle recommendations apply... Can you define Mabuhay in English and it's origin? Thanks. All the best. -Always, in all ways, -D I had my GB out last week Hello to all, I am sorry to say that after doing 15 successful flushes, I finally gave in to surgery. I'm only 32. Guest guest
Judy, The large stone I have in the bottle is oblong in shape, about 19mm in diameter and 26 mm in length. It goes with about 20 more black crystals 5mm in size. Dave, " Mabuhay " in English could mean Hello or Welcome or Proud or Longlive. I'm from the Philippines, it's a filipino word. I just meant " Longlive or I'm proud to those who still have their GBs " Sheri, Thanks for your input regarding pregnancy. Now I would need to find a good doctor or midwife who can work with me with preparations for pregnancy next year. Good luck to you too and best of health.
