Guest guest
Do you do any colonic or colon cleanse as a part of the flush? I know for a fact that colonics can vastly improve one's state of mind. Crazy. On day 1, I felt incredible relief from depression that has resisted treatment my entire adult life (since age 15 - I'm 41 now). I was actually thinking I was pretty when I looked in the mirror. The voices that call me a loser throughout the day were quiet. I had a lot of energy and good concentration, and I actually wanted to socialize. And I just felt light in my heart. (Note: the " voices " I refer to are not the " invasive " voices experienced by a schizophrenic - they are me telling myself bad things.) Day 2 still felt good, but the voices were whispering a little bit. Had some good positive interactions with people and felt really good about that. Today's day 3, and the negative voices are back in my head, and life is feeling kind of small and drab again. My question is: Has anyone cured their depression with liver flushes? How many flushes did it take, and how far apart? Since the depression is back, I feel like doing another one right away. I know they say to wait at least two weeks between flushes. Thanks for any information or insight you can provide. I am also interested if anyone is aware of any scientific literature about why a liver flush should relieve treatment-resistant depression!! Guest guest
I can attest that, Fred. Was feeling moody all week. No cleanse, but cleaned out good last night and feel much better today than the last few. In a message dated 2/25/2011 12:47:19 P.M. Guest guest
hi Fred regarding curing depression through liver cleanses, you mentioned schizophrenia, I don't know if you are taking meds, but many side effects to drugs are depression, hallucinations, strange behavior, etc. it is best to read side effects on every thing a person takes Judy
Guest guest
That was not me. I was responding to the poster that asked about liver cleansing helping with depression. I suggested that the colon cleansing may have been more responsible than the liver cleanse itself for the improved state of mind. As far as the poster mentioning schizophrenia, this person said it was NOT schizophrenia. It was just some thoughts that deteriorated as time passed after the cleanse. As far as concern about meds, the poster said that he/she has resisted treatment. Guest guest
Depression in many cases is mercury contamination. Did you or do you have any amalgam fillings? Mercury molecules become so tightly bound to fat and nerve tissues that they are Extremely difficult to remove from the body. You probably felt no more depression because your liver was more able to produce Glutathione which is a master chelator in the body. > > Have been passing big stones for the past three days. Guest guest
I didn't say I had resisted treatment. I said the depression had resisted treatment. I have been on a lot of medications over the years as well as had tons of therapy, psychological and physical, all different approaches, the best the past 25 years of psychotherapeutic evolution has had to offer. I have worked the 12 steps even though I have never been addicted to alcohol or drugs. I have tried dietary interventions up the yingyang and have a very high level of self care, including sleep and exercise. I have consumed no gluten or aspartame since 2004. I have been doing coffee enemas almost daily for two years because they do help my mental state considerably. And no, I don't have schizophrenia. I was asking if anyone had cured their depression with liver flushes. I guess the answer is no. I am going to keep at it though. > > That was not me. Guest guest
Sorry, I did forget to mention, I did notice a temporary improvement in my mild depression from both coffee, wheatgrass enemas and flushes. The long lasting improvements in my depression have been from my chelating metals by using glutathione, EDTA suppositories and far infrared sauna. My alternative MD completely reversed his depression and anxiety when he got his fillings out and used natural/synthetic chelation. It's interesting too that the flushes get out a tonne of Ammonia from the Liver (that's why H recommends Ornithine to prevent the intestines from reabsorbing). It would stand to reason that the body could after a flush be more capable of detoxing systemic ammonia, including ammonia from the brain. This could also positively influence mood in general. Just my opinion. Brad > > > > Have been passing big stones for the past three days.
