OK, so I've been reading on here for 10 weeks while having 6 attacks during that

period. I've been afraid to try the flush b/c I'm pregnant. My naturopathic

dr. said it is too hard on the body during pregnancy, but at this point I am

actually considering surgery b/c this is too painful and I am hardly able to eat

anything w/o having an attack. I am not gaining weight, getting little

nutrition and no protein which can't be good for the baby. Once I went to the

hospital to get pain med's b/c it was so bad and they gave me a shot of

morphine. Well that isn't good for the baby either. I can hardly breathe

during the attacks and I can imagine how much worse that's going to be when I

get further along in the pregnancy. However, I have MANY questions, if anyone

wants to bear with me. They did confirm 2 calcified stones via ultrasound but

they never told me how big they were. I'm scheduled for another ultrasound in

the next two weeks but I don't think I want to wait that long. Hopefully, I can

do the flush first and it will confirm that there are no longer stones. :)

1. There are many different varieties of flushes out there. I'm not sure which

one to use. I have a sensitive stomach so I'm afraid I'm going to throw up. If

I take Coke, it will likely keep me awake at night, but that may be my best

option as I really miss my Coke.

2. Do I do one without epsom salts? I have just had two colon hydrotherapy

sessions done and have one more scheduled. I'm hoping this helps clear the way

for the stones to get out quicker. Does this mean I don't have to do an enema

or the epsom salt drinks before the flush since I've done the colon

hydrotherapy? I just had one done two days ago and haven't gone to the bathroom

yet. I had a gallstone attack 2 hours after the colon cleanse. Not sure what

that means. I would think it would be best to do the liver flush a couple days

after a colon cleanse, but do I need to take 5 days to prep of eating apples and

apple juice? I do eat about one apple a day and about 16 oz of apple juice a

day for the last two months. I'd like to do the flush right away but don't know

if now I need to wait to eat all the apples first. I don't feel comfortable

doing an enema on myself. Maybe I should wait until after my next colon

hydrotherapy? I had a friend who expelled stones during her 6th colon

hydrotherapy but she also was taking herbs to help eliminate the stones, which

cannot be taken during pregnancy.

3. Is it necessary to do a whole 2 cups of olive oil? Can you do less than

this and still expel stones?

4. Do you experience gallstone like attacks during the time you are waiting to

expel the stones?

5. Why do some people feel like they have the flu after the flushes? Some say

they feel much better right away.

6. My naturopath said I have parasites but I can't find a natural parasite

cleanse that is safe during pregnancy. Anyone know of one? Can I do the flush

without doing a parasite cleanse first? I thought I had read that you have to

do the parasite cleanse first or the flush may not be effective.

7. Once I do the flush, am I going to be able to eat more freely? I will still

eat no red meat and I am GFCF(gluten and dairy free), but I'd love to be able to

eat organic chicken, some soy, chocolate, sugar, occassional Coke, etc. again

and some occassional red meat if possible.

8. After the flush, will I be free of gallstone attacks, or will I still be

just as susceptible if I don't stay on the very restricted diet? My whole aim

is to eliminate the stones and the attacks and be able to eat more foods. I'm

just not getting enough nutrition and enough food while pregnant. I do exercise

and I am not overweight. I am underweight. However, diet, exercise, supp's are

still not preventing attacks. I have choline, Beta food, disodium phosphate, vit

C, prenatals, aloe vera juice, digestive enzymes, probiotics, liver cleansing

teas, chamomile tea, etc. I don't take all of those all the time b/c I was

afraid they were causing the attacks, but I have them.

9. Has anyone done the flush and not passed stones? Just wondering what the

failure rate was on doing the flush wrong. I'm afraid I'm going to do it wrong.

10. What was the recovery like for most of you? Were you sick for a couple

days following the flush? I have 3 young kids to take care of. I will have

someone here for at least the next day. My youngest tends to wake up in the

middle of the night and wake me up which will be a pain.

11. And lastly, what in the world do you all do during an attack to ease the

pain? I've been taking a hot bath and that helps some. I also took Tylenol and

aloe vera juice but not sure if it helped or not. Still lasted over an hour. I

did try drinking apple cider vinegar with apple juice but it just made me throw

up a few times. My dr. prescribed Levbid which helps stop the gallbladder from

contracting but I haven't picked it up yet. I hate to take anything while

pregnant and not sure if it would help or not.

Thanks for reading. If anyone has any answers, I would love to hear them. My

husband's birthday is Saturday so I hate to do it tomorrow night, but maybe I'll

try it Saturday night. I want these stupid stones out one way or another. I

have to think a flush would be less painful than surgery. Thanks so much for

any help.
