Guest guest Posted September 24, 2010 Report Share Posted September 24, 2010 Hi all, I've been having chronic gallstone pain since Jan of this year. It hurts about every 1-2 days and for 2-12 hours. The pain is light enough I can do things like cook and feed my children but I can do these things because I have to despite the pain - it actually hurts quite bad. I've tried taking 2T of ACV w/ water when it hurts really bad and usually, the pain gets lessened, but sometimes, the pain just gets worse again after a couple of hours. I've also tried taking 1TB of epsom salts w/ water but only when it hurts so bad I can't do anything - the pain does subside in about 10-20 minutes, but my understanding is that epsom salts is hard on your body, so I should not be using this solution on a regular basis. I've also tried taking 1T of ACV in morn with water in morn but when I tried that, that actually initiated the pain. Any suggestions? I've read about people use castor oil packs but I'm not sure how to use a heated source for it given my need to be moving about all the time taking care of the kids and cooking, etc. I've read Dave Shelden say this: " Take smooth muscle relaxing compounds such as magnesium, wild cherry bark, Jamaican dogwood etc in order to prevent another spasm. " But, I don't know if this can handle the severity and regularity of my case and I don't know how to go about it e.g. dosage. I'll write another email later to give details about my history and ask more questions but this is my most pressing issue right now. Some basic info I'll type out now: Jan-Feb: pain right under sternum lead to ultrasound showing lots of little gallstones Mar-June: went on juicing diet w/ lots of apples and pears juiced; took chanca piedra and peppermint oil for 1 month; didn't do flush because I didn't think I needed it; also did weeks of colonics; took ultrasound at end and saw gallbladder still full of stones plus sludge; pain migrated to right chest after started juicing and never left July-Sept: completed 3 flushes so far using just apple juice to prep for 1st, apple juice, chanca piedra, boldo for 2nd, and apple juice, dandelion, peppermint oil for 3rd. Also added taurine, cold pressed oils, lecithin to regimen; basically, trying to follow Dave Shelden's advice; pain always returned 1-2 days after flush, and not any less than before; flush always produced lots (easily hundreds if not over 1 thousand) of green/floating " stones " (don't know if they are stones for real); never had nausea/headaches during or after flush Any help would be greatly appreciated.
