Hope you are OK.

I had my gallbladder operation on Tuesday, I nearly chickened out with all the

scary talk!

No wonder I've been in pain, I had an inflamed and infected gallbladder, the

liver was enlarged and I had a hernia which was repaired.  I was in ICU one

night due to my breathing problems.  I am now quite sore especially when moving

around but no shoulder or stomach pain like I had previously!! !  It was done

by keyhole but was a major operation rather than minor in the end!

I have heard from my friend who is still in Addenbrookes having tests,

she is starting to walk with physio, she still is using a catheter and can't her

hand properly yet, they now say she hasn't got a virus but a bacterial

infection, they are waiting to grow the bacteria before they know what it is.

She has been told she is improving which is good, it will take time!

Take care

Liz
