Guest guest
Pam, sure I'd try it. The idea is that the magnesium soaks through the skin so he'd get some but perhaps not as much or as quickly as if it were his whole body. BTW, they do make a cream now...that's what I use on my son when we need some instant results. Good luck, Tammy ----- Original Message ----- Can you get the same results from soaking your feet in a pan of Epson salt as soaking your body? I was thinking that maybe when was doing his homework he could be soaking. Thank you, Pam
Guest guest
you were given partial facts. epson salts can help with toxins, but not to the point of recovery, and you need to do a lot of other things too. autism/ autism treatment/ Someone told me today that there daughter was diagnosed with autism. That she went on the internet for support and some lady told her about soaking your child in epson salt. The woman told me that she did soak her daughter in epson salt and it stunk. She said if your child stinks its the epson salt getting rid of toxins. She then told me her daughter started coming out of it and within months started learning and acting like a normal child. Her daughter now gets straight As. Has anyone else heard of this? thanks Charlene __________________________________________________________________ The NEW Netscape 7.0 browser is now available. This is a neurological disorder that affects the brain and there is no known cure for it. I have heard of others stating that this or that 'cured' their children of Autism. My personal feeling on that matter is, apparently they didn't have Autism. If this was the case we wouldn't even be discussing Autism in our daughters because it would have been cured 50 years ago when Dr. Kanner first added it to psychiatric literature in 1943. I wish it were that simple but I'm afraid this woman is just grabbing at straws. Aviv
Guest guest
Hi, I think what I would want to ask this mother is what level was her child before the Epson salt? What type of school did her daughter attend? Was she verbal or non-verbal? Or was she like Jen... verbal at points, but at most time non-verbal. Was the child tested in any ways to determine the type of toxicity? Did her daughter have any labels given by doctors? I guess the questions would just go on and on... I sure you get the point. If it were so easy... there would be a run on Epson salts like you never seen. Of course I never thought that Cilantro would cause the reaction in Jen that I seen, but I know it helped her and my other daughter's Kim's eye movement disorder. I don't think anyone has a great shiny pill or magic solution that works for every child. The doctors, teachers and aids would all be demanding we stick our children in a bath of Epson salt. I am not say it would not help some children because each child is different. I not saying this person is lacks the truth, but read what you see with a grain of salt ask as many questions as they are willing to give answers. I would like to know the results of other children with Epson salt... considering I feed Jen Cilantro and had positive result... Epson salts is not to far fetched, but how long to you leave them in the water and is Epson salts safe if the would happen to get any internally? I know from my own experience that I had success for Jen with A.I.T. and brush therapy. I know the vitamins and improved diet help her. I am sure the secretin infusion and the secretin transdermally increased her speech and improved her eye contact. I also know that Jen takes a pill that is considered to be poison by DAN doctors to autistic children, yet for Jen it increase language and can work much better when she takes the pill. One man poison is another man medicine. I know when I gave her Cilantro fresh for the plant (it helped), and I completely sure that chelating for Mercury (DMSA) was a great deal of help, because she has learned to ride her three-wheel bicycle, three-wheel scooter, go-cart, and her sister two-wheel scooter in the last week. Granted she not the greatest on the two-wheel scooter, but she is trying and when she hopped on her three-wheel bicycle she hand her stimming stick. This is a stick, ruler, rolled paper or any cylindrical object about 12 inches in length and she can use to tap her mouth, lower facial area, hands, arms and upper torso. From the time she rises to the time she goes to bed she is taping. the other night she handed me her stimming stick and hopped on the three-wheel bicycle and took off riding. Weeks ago she would have held the stick sat in the seat on the bicycle and screamed waiting for someone to push her. Each time I think we have found a key to Jen's problem... it open another door and I begin look for more answers. I know Jen has windows where she can talk and understand what I saying to a point at times. I keep getting closer to making the windows open more often. Take Care and God Bless, Beverly Weakley Mom of Jen and Kim
Guest guest
We tried this with our daughter a couple of years ago and saw no changes at all. There was no smell, no improvement, no nothing so we stopped. Guest guest
Thank you all for your advice. I havent tried it yet but I thought I would ask. I may try it later its just hard to have a portable tub in a RV park LOL Charlene -- epson salt Please respond to Autism_in_Girls Someone told me today that there daughter was diagnosed with autism. Guest guest
I am interested in doing the cleanse but in reading I hear the epson salt causes the heart to race. I have atrial fibrulation and not sure the racing heart would be good. How long does the racing heat last? Has anyone done this while being in a-fib? I have had gall pain for years. I don't want to have surgery but don't like the pain of the attacks.
