Guest guest
Gee, I wonder if this will show up on the "Families Fighting Flu" website? http://www.familiesfightingflu.org/ Becca
Guest guest
From the article: "The CDC is investigating." How reassuring. Becca
Guest guest
Wow, this Families Fighting Flu website has some pretty wild stories in it! A young child has a heart attack from the flu? I'm really curious to know what else was going on in their lives, for example, when were they last vaccinated for anything? Also, they make the parents look like idiots: " Chance had been vaccinated against the flu the year before he got sick; however, his family did not know that the vaccine changes annually and as such people need to get vaccinated every year. " Aren't they just guessing when they make the flu vaccine anyway? They don't know which strain is going to show up, right? And here's one: " had not been vaccinated against H1N1 because at the time the vaccine was not available in his community, and his mother was not informed enough to make a decision about whether or not to vaccinate her children. " If it wasn't available, why does it matter if she was informed? And of course, if she was informed, she would have chosen to vaccinate. Would love to know the truth behind these stories. Thanks for sharing this website--I had no idea it existed. Why would a healthy (supposedly) teenager die from the flu? I don't get it. I'm not afraid of the flu one bit--should I be? Guest guest
Why did all these kids die? It seems so dramatic, some dying so quickly with crazy symptoms. These are not things I imagine happening at all when I think of my kids getting sick... On Fri, Jan 20, 2012 at 9:22 AM, Venita Garner <nitagarner@...> wrote: No you should not be afraid of the flu.
