Hi everyone,

I have only just heard from our Barrister and from who was kind enough to

go to court this morning because I couldn't be there so I don't have all of the

details but here is what I know so far:

1- The HCCC did NOT have jurisdiction to investigate the AVN because the

complaints that had been filed were not valid complaints under the Act.

2- The HCCC's warning against the AVN was invalid. I am not sure if the HCCC has

been ordered to rescind the order or not but I will find out and let you know.

I want to thank EVERYONE who has supported the AVN through this very difficult

time. Your faith in us and your constant positive energy has both kept us going

and helped us set this incredibly important precedent.

Now, let's see positive outcomes for Prof - and Wakefield and

we will know that the tide truly has turned!

Fouad - would you mind sending this notice onto the list? I don't have their

emails on my ipad. Thanks!

All the best,

Meryl
