I should think that one might be hard to prove? A lot of things can cause chronic illness, like general poor immune system, undiagnosed food sensitivities etc. Seems to me that any chronic condition is more an issue of an immune system or vital energy that is struggling and not being properly fed; than as a result of a disease? i could be wrong about this though... I ask because someone I confided in that I don't vax a year or two ago, told someone at my son's new preschool that I don't vax. Her granddaughter plays with my son and so we get together often after school, and she keeps cautiously bringing up the vax issue and reminding me that her husband got his lung disease from having pertussis, because they didn't have the vax yet at that time. I don't really say anything because I don't if this is possible or not, but I doubt it.

The pertussis vaccine was developed in 1924, and has been mandated since 1940. There has been lots of controversy since the 1940s about how neurologically toxic and unreliable the pertussis component is. She does not know what she is talking about. Her husband has something else and it is not from pertussis. He may have latent tuberculosis or come from a home where everyone smoked indoors. Asthma is another possibility. ~ Maureen R. I agree with Maureen. There's nothing in the CDC info that lists lung damage or any other long-term effects from pertussis:

However, the pertussis VACCINE IS associated with onset of ASTHMA. A study done

in Canada using about 11,000 children, discovered that by moving the initial

pertussis vaccine back just two months in the schedule ( from two months of age

to four months of age) the incidence of asthma was reduced by 50%!

Ah, yes, that is what I meant when I mentioned asthma. The DPT vaccine in all of its variations has been known to make it worse if the child is pre-dipositioned to having asthma. Add to that the generation old paediatricians' advice to give acetaminophen with the DPT shot to lower fever is known to lower the immune response, lowering the glutathione levels, rendering any "benefits" of the vaccine less and leaving the child open to asthma. ~ Maureen R. Thanks Maureen, I'll have to ask her exactly what lung disease he has. She said the doctor told her it was from pertussis. I don't want to bother her now because she just took her dog to have his teeth cleaned, and he died within days. The place said it could have been from the intubation????

Doctors make things up, plain and simple.

That is horrible about the dog! How can they let that happen??

,Been involved in dog showing and breeding for over 20 years. This is actually not uncommon. Some animals do not handle anesthesia very well. Some breeds can't handle barbituates because it supresses their breathing too much. For example I raise Afghan Hounds. They can't have barbituates. Some herding breeds are also very sensitive. I don't think they can do tests the way they do with people to determine sensitivity. I don't know. I'm pretty upset about it. Her daughter in law told me she's a wreck about it. I bought her a sympathy card for when you lose a pet, but little good that does. I'd be devastated if that happened to one of my cats.

It's pet dental health month - I just got an email from my previous vet. It went

on and on about how important dental health is and how you need to schedule an

appt for your pet and how they may need to have a cleaning. Yeah, that, or feed

them a species appropriate diet that will naturally clean their teeth. I'm so

sorry that person lost their beloved pet. It's especially sad when it's easily

preventable.
