Guest guest
My children are young adults (23 and 25) and my neurologist suggested that they NOT have the DNA test as it might " follow " them and they could be refused insurance, etc., etc. He said that once the familial type is known, then a pretty good diagnosis can be made by a physical and the nerve tests and there does not need to be an " official " record. Don't know if this helps - it is just my experience. Deb
