I've been very busy since my last PReP update!

1. I've been working on vaccine legislative issues in several states.

A. Legal Memorandum opposing NY's A343/S384 that would allow minors to consent to HPV and Hep B vaccines (unconstitutional)

B. Legal Memorandum opposing CA's AB 2109 that would make doctors gatekeepers of non-medical exemptions (unconstitutional)

C. Letters to VT legislature opposing SB 199 that would remove VT's philosophical exemption (I testified live by phone before the VT House's Healthcare Committee)

D. Legal Memorandum opposing NC law that currently allows minors of *any age* to consent to *any* vaccine and other medical treatments (violates 4 state and fed Constitutional provisions and 4 state and fed statutory provisions!)

E. Open Letter to Pediatricians who refuse unvaccinated kids in their practices (may violate Constitutional rights; ethical, moral and professional violations)

F. **Legal Memorandum addressing Constitutional and other violations of CA's recent law allowing minors to consent to vaccines coming soon!

Dear PReP Supporters:

If you or anyone you know in NC is willing to meet with their state reps about sec. 90-21.5, which allows children of any age to consent to any vaccine (and other medical treatments), please contact me (or have them contact me). I'm willing to meet with NC citizens and their reps, in person or by phone if necessary and possible, to discuss the need to repeal this or substantially amend this law. We have to get moving on this--states are starting to get in line and duplicate this law!!

My own state senator wouldn't touch it because we have UNC Hospitals in our district. I changed my party affiliation after that meeting!
